Grian is a seven year old Phoenix child. He adored his adopted father and would do anything to make him happy.
It's a summer night, Grian was supposed to be asleep, but he walked out to the living room and saw Xisuma on the porch, clearly thinking about something. He tilted his head and walked out the back porch.
As he walked around, little lightning bugs would start to fly around him. After about thirty or so fireflies, he walked around to the front porch.
"SumSum!"
Xisuma looked over and laughed, "Who knew a Phoenix hybrid could attract fireflies."
"I'm their little world!" Grian said as he circled around Xisuma, "I'm a bug magnet!"
"C'mere you little bug." Xisuma grabbed Grian and pulled him to his chest, "What're your lightning bugs gonna do now?"
"Save me buggies!"
The fireflies only danced around the two. Grian fell asleep in Xisuma's arms minutes later.
