Chapter 43: It's Just A Kiss On The Cheek.

Yuno: You got a lot of stuff again.

Me: Well there's a lot of people back home.

I finally got everything I needed for a night over Hage Village and all the gifts I got everyone at home.

[I'm so excited to see the girls in the cute dresses I got them and the boys will look so handsome in their dress shirts. But of course I got them toys and such, I definitely spoiled them like crazy!]

Me: Luckily on the way back, all I'll have is my bag.

Yuno: *rolls eyes* Riiiiggghhttt....

I looked down at everything and placed my hands on my hips as I thought,

Me: Now, to carry all this at once.

Bending over, I got a good grip of the bags but I didn't realize how heavy they all were. I threw over the giant bag over my shoulder as I gritted my teeth from ALL the weight I was holding. Yuno stood there with his hands crossed as he watched me struggle. He asked blankly,

Yuno: Do you need any help?

I turned around as I tried my hardest not to sound like I was battling for any kind of relief.

Me: N—O——....I-Got-It.

I took very big steps out of my room and towards the hallway while Yuno shook his head. Yuno stepped out of my room and closed the door as he then took only two steps to catch up right with me. Yuno leaned over and asked again,

Yuno: Are you sure you don't need any help?

I was using all my might to get quicker with my response, which did work so I told Yuno.

Me: I got it. See I quickly spoke and sped walked down the...

Unfortunately, I tripped over the stupid rug that was right on top of the stairs.

With the weight of the bag and the velocity that I was going, I was flung forward along with everything that I was holding. I yelled as I tumbled down the stairs and bounced off every step. Yuno's eyes flew open as he tried to catch up to me but gravity was just yanking me down.

Yuno: Vanellope!

I landed flat on the ground as swirls filled my eyes. Sounds of pain escaped from my mouth as Yuno came quickly down the stairs. When he got to me, he sighed and commented while holding the bridge of his nose.

Yuno: What am I going to do with you?

Me: *puppy dog eyes* Not be mad at me.

Yuno leaned down and started to help me to my feet.

Yuno: You're going to make me grow old real fast.

I started dusting myself off as he helped fix my hair.

Yuno: You act like such a child.

Me: Just because I am clumsy does not make me "a child".

Before Yuno can argue back and lead into a spat, we heard people arguing outside. Curiosity got the best of me and I really wanted to go to the window and see what was happening. Yuno took notice of my impatient stance as he bluntly said knowing what I wanted to do.

Yuno: No.

Me: Just a tiny peak.

Yuno: Absolutely not.

Me: *scoffs* Shut up Yuno. You ain't the boss of me.

Yuno: "ain't" isn't a word.

Me: Whatever. I'm gonna go look.
