You sighed while staring at your laptop screen. You were supposed to make a slideshow for tomorrow's case report, but you've been staring at your laptop without doing anything for the past ten minutes. You knew the problem that made your brain refused to work but you didn't want to admit it. It was a petty reason but it was a usual problem in every relationship, jealousy. You got jealous when you saw Jackson's IG live earlier. And him being thousand miles away from you didn't help to ease your jealousy either. You kept telling yourself that you were a fool for being jealous. You knew what you were signed up for when you accepted his confession the second time. The first time you were together because both your grandpa made a pact years ago. But then you decided it was unfair for both of you to keep on going with the fake marriage so you left him two years ago. Then he showed up at the hospital where you were working at, out of nowhere, and he didn't let you walk away the second time. He clearly told you that he wanted to be with you and you accepted that. Knowing for sure that he was a super famous idol, not just in Korea, but also in Mainland China, your home country, you accepted all of the consequences for dating him. You didn't mind with his work even though he had to leave you for months for his concert, or for doing recordings until late at night for days. You even didn't mind with him being flirty with the fans. Even if he flashed his body toward the fans, taking off his shirt at the end of his concert, you were okay with all that.

He was even curious as why you never got jealous, not even the slightest. But here you are, feeling jealous for a stupid and baseless reason. You got jealous because of Karencici, the only female member of his Panthepack crew. You knew there was nothing between them, but still, watching her walking around Jackson with her cropped tank top, baggy pants, somehow made your blood boil. Though you knew that maybe she had some zippered jacket lying around to cover her top, but you didn't see her wear one in the IG live. And the fact that Jackson didn't seem to bother with it annoyed you. He didn't like you go to the gym alone or without covering your sports bra with some tank top or shirt because he didn't want other males drooling over you. But there he was, sitting there, with Cici walking around him with similar attire that he banned you from wearing. You were startled by the sound of your phone buzzing on the desk. It was a video call, Jackson. You got no choice but to pick it up or he would be suspicious.

"Hey there, are you still at work?" he didn't like the fact that you stayed up late at work, even though he himself did that numerous times.

You propped your phone in front of the picture frame on your desk, making sure the camera captured your face and a bit of your desk, but nothing else, "Yeah, I haven't finished my presentation yet. What about you?" you asked without looking back at him.

"Just finished recordings and we're about to go to dinner, but I decided not to join them and called you instead. Ugh.. I missed you," he grunted and all pouty when you glanced at your phone.

"You called me yesterday," you reminded him. "And no, I still love working here so I can't move back and forth with you everytime you had to promote with Panthepack in China then back to Korea when you have to promote with GOT7," you warned him, knowing well what he was about to say.

He sighed, "You know me too well. And Ellie," he called out to you, only for you to hum back at him without giving him a glance, "I called you so I can look at your face, but why are you staring at your laptop? Don't you miss me?" You sighed. You knew that if he saw you, he'd definitely figure out that something was bothering your mind.

"I look at you now," you turned your head to face your phone, but you couldn't look back at him straight. You didn't dare to maintain the eye contact. "Sorry Jackson, I need to finish this. I have to present this case tomorrow morning, and by morning it means," you looked at the watch on your wrist, "6 hours from now. You don't like when I sleep late, so.. ," you left your sentence hanging. Half of you didn't want to hurt his feelings. You also missed him. It would be months before he could go back to Korea again, but half of you didn't want to be reminded of the sightings earlier.

He pouted, making your heart hurt a bit, but he agreed to cut the call short," Okay.. Just go to sleep straight after finishing your presentation. I don't want you to get sick, okay?" You nodded before ending the call.

You huffed, thinking that you finally off the hook and started working back at the presentation. Working should get your mind occupied, away from stupid thoughts. You managed to finish it in an hour then caught up on sleeping. You continued the next day as usual, pretending that nothing was happened the day before. You just got back home, when you saw another figure in your apartment, lying on your couch. You dropped your bag due to the shock but before you could scream or anything, that figure moved and called you, "Ellie?"

"Jackson? Oh my goodness, I think I just had a heart attack because of you," you grunted before your fingers managed to find the light switch and turned it on. "Why are you lying in the dark? And why are you even here? You're not supposed to be back for another month or two," you started to rambling, not noticing that he already walked closer to you and pulled you to the couch to sit beside him.

"Well," he ran his fingers through his hair, exhaustion clearly shown on his face, "You didn't seem like yourself last night, so I was worried about you," he reached out his hand to cup your face, studying your face. "What happened last night?"

You suddenly remembered your stupid jealousy and now looked what happened because of it. You made him fly all the way from China to Korea just because of your jealousy. You became uncomfortable under his gaze. "I.. I," you stuttered.

"What is it? Come on, you can tell me..," he pleaded.

"Jackson, it's just stupid. It's nothing you should worry about," you were getting frustrated now.

"It's something if it bothered your mind," he insisted, gripping both your shoulders now, maybe thinking that he could shake it out of you. "Did I do something wrong?"

"No," you almost shouted in frustration. "It's just me. I was watching your IG live yesterday and... It bothered me to see you and ..."

"And?" he pestered, eyebrows knitted in confusion.

"Well..," you bit your lower lips, "I was annoyed by the fact that you let Cici walked around you just in clothes like that, while you had me all covered up, even for the gym," you finally let it out.

"So...," he said cautiously, "Basically, you were jealous of Cici?" his lips turned up in a smile and you couldn't help but smacked his chest lightly for teasing you. You groaned.

"Yeah, I was stupid. It was stupid. And now look what I've done! I made you fly across the country, abandoning your work." He pulled you into his hug and carressed your hair.

"No.. I don't care about it. When I asked you to be mine, I made sure that you're my priority. Don't worry about work. I can catch up with work," he pulled back a bit to see your face. "You know that Cici means nothing to me, right? But I'd be damned if I let other males drooling over your body?" You nodded, couldn't meet his gaze. "You're mine and mine only. And I'd love to prove it to you in any ways I could," he kissed the top of your head, before planting another one on your forehead, and another one on your cheek. You could hear his chuckle when he saw you blushing because of his kiss, even though you two had shared lots of kissing already. He pulled you back into his hug, "You know what, I don't mind with you being jealous though. It's rare to see you jealous like this. I wouldn't trade it any other way. I had the excuse to see your cute jealous face," you punched his chest lightly but then a yelp escaped your mouth as Jackson suddenly lifted you, bridal style and started to walk to your bedroom.

"Jackson! Put me down! I can walk by myself," you half shouted.

"Nope. Since I'm here, I get to spoil you like a princess, and the first thing is carrying you all the time," he plastered his cheeky grin on his face before putting you down on the bed. "Now, do you want to take a shower first or do you want to eat dinner first?" He barely gave you a second to think before he answered it himself. "I think a proper kiss should come first," he said before claiming your lips with his, consuming you in a heated, passionate kiss that left you breathless. Oh well, maybe being jealous wasn't that bad, you thought.
