Please help!!, you read the text from your boyfriend in confusion. You replied, asking him what could you help him with and he only gave you an address and asked you to go there after work. You thought he was in some kind of emergency situation so you rushed to the place but stunned when you saw a dog cafe. What could happen in a dog cafe that could be classified as an emergency? Well, the answer was clear the moment you stepped inside the cafe. You saw the dogs crowded him and he looked helpless. He spotted you almost immediately and his face lit up. You could see that he was relieved when he saw your face.

"Oh.. Thank you, thank you, thank you," he rushed to close the gate so the dogs wouldn't run away before rushing to your side.

"What are you doing here?"

"Well, I am going to shoot here so I thought why not familiarize myself before the shooting? So, I asked the owner and he let me help for today. Unfortunately, there's a part timer that supposed to accompany me, but he went home earlier because he was sick. And now I'm all alone because the owner can't find any replacement. So, I asked him if I could ask for your help and he let me."

"Gee, if only I knew that you were okay, I wouldn't rush coming here," you hoped that he would do everything in his power to make you stay, perhaps showing some aegyo that he rarely showed and you were right. He was desperate enough to give you the puppy eyes and did a bit aegyo.

"Noonaaa.. can't you help me this once?" he batted his eyelashes as best as he could and you couldn't help laughing at his silly face.

"Okay okay.. I'll help you."

"Yaayyy," he was jumping in joy and then moved on to take your bag and kept it in the locker before giving you an apron.

"So, what should we do?"

"We have to make some treats for them and later we're going to bath them," he pointed to the table that he managed to set up earlier. You saw there were several ingredients on the table. You put on the plastic gloves and listened carefully to his instruction.

"So, this is the sweet potato puree. You need to spread enough to this pie base and then these are the toppings," he pointed to the cut up stuff on the plate. "This is salmon, paprika and pumpkin. Here, let me show you how you should it," he sat down and started working while you watched carefully.

The two of you were immersed in making the snacks in comfortable silence when suddenly a familar bark was heard. Both of you jumped on your seats and you turned around to see Coco jumping around Youngjae's feet.

"Oh, Coco is here as well?" you crouched down to pet Youngjae's princess and she licked your hand happily, wagging her tail as well.

"I think she's curious," Youngjae stated when he looked at his princess.

"Maybe she knows we are making her treats. Should I give her some now?"

"Yeah, no problem. Here, Coco," he called out Coco and she came over quickly, "Try this," Youngjae gave Coco some toppings and she barked, showing her approval.

"I think she likes it," you said after observing her.

"Of course she would. They prepared a lot of salmon for the dogs. Even I don't eat salmon that much," Youngjae grunted as he felt the dogs were spoiled, but you knew he was just joking as he liked to spoil Coco as well. You two quickly finished making the treats and Youngjae tried to place the treats straight to the bowl but you stopped him immediately.

"Wait, how big are the rest of the dogs?" you asked and Youngjae was a bit confused, but he led you toward the back of the cafe and you saw maybe eight dogs barking at you. You saw that most of them were small, only a couple that was quite big in size.

"Then those treats will too big for some of them. Maybe we should cut them in two?" you looked back at Youngjae and he realized his mistake immediately. He grabbed the knife and started to cut the treats into two before putting them into the bowls. You helped line up the bowl at one side of the wall and was about to open the gate so the dogs could eat their treats when Youngjae stopped you.

"Noona, I think we should separate Coco's from the other. I mean, she doesn't know the others well so she might feel uncomfortable. The others might be too," he thought and you agreed as he made a good point. You separated Coco's bowl from the rest and opened the gate to let the dogs out. Some of them went straight to their bowls and enjoyed their treats. Some sniffed suspiciously and then when they deemed it was safe, they started to taste it and then enjoyed it as well. Coco did pretty well. She ate most of hers but then she played with one of the other dog and forgot about her food.

"Is she okay? She didn't finish hers," you told Youngjae, concerned about Coco.

"No, it's okay. I gave her apple before coming here, so she'd probably still full."

After cleaning up all the bowls, you two then sighed as you knew the hardest work was getting them into bath. You have prepared the bath, checking the water temperature as well as prepared some treats to persuade the dogs if they refused to be bathed. You wore the rubber gloves and put on the boots and you saw Youngjae did the same. You two made a scenario about how you should handle the dogs but all scenarios went out of the window. No matter how organized you were, the dogs were unexpected. Some would run away the moment they heard the sound of water running, some would enjoy the bath. Some ran away when they were being dried. But there was one sure thing happened, you two became a wet mess. You two looked at each other and laughed hard.

"Oh, I'm sorry noona, you got into this mess because of me," he apologized but not really sorry since he splashed more water to your direction.

"Hey!!!" you shouted and splashed him back. "It's okay. It's quite fun. Maybe we could come back someday, but as visitor. I don't think I can handle all those dogs again." He agreed. Even though you two ended up wet and tired, but it was fun.
