You couldn't believe the situation you got yourself into. You were bored being alone in the apartment, but you had no motivation to finish your job so you decided to tag along with Bam to the studio. And here you were, in the middle of the oppas who were talking about their wives/significant others like you weren't there. Bam was in the recording cubicle but when you two came into the studio, he briefly heard what they were talking about. They were mostly sulking at the minimal chance of taking care of the unnies as they were hard as rock. When you both arrived, Mark oppa has finished his story and it was Jaebeom oppa that did the talking.

He told his story when Elle unnie was sick last time, and that was his first time taking care of her. He complained about her not giving him a chance to take care of her more. Jackson oppa immediately chimed in, complaining about his hardworking wife and her bad habit of not eating properly. But at the end he was glad he won the fight as for now, he's been sending her regular meals to the hospital so she wouldn't run on chocolates and snacks anymore. He told us the last time she got severe migraine because she stole most of the chocolate he got around Christmas. Jinyoung oppa didn't wait any more second to chime in. He was half thankful to Jackson oppa that told him about the booster schedule since Seonyoung unnie apparently didn't bother to tell him about that. He arrived just in time to save her from collapsing. You decided it was too much for you to listen so you got up and left the room when Youngjae oppa was about to open his mouth. You didn't notice that Bam had walked out the cubicle and asked Yugyeom what was going on to catch up the chatter.

You headed to the lounge area, pouring yourself a glass of water. Though they weren't trashing the unnies, but you felt a bit uncomfortable. The unnies... they were so strong and independent that you felt a bit ashamed when you heard those stories. Your mind went back to recall your own experience. As far as you remembered, there were lots of times you had to rely on Bam. You bet he wouldn't have any difficulties to share his experience of taking care of you. As he had plenty. Even before you got into a relationship. He knew you were living alone and he thought your family deserted you as he never saw your family visiting, not even once. Since he was the only person that you spent most of your times with, he, sort of, saw everything firsthand.

Periodic cramp? Well, he was confused for the first few months but was quick to notice the months after. He knew well not to disturb you during your period and complied with yout ridiculous cravings. He would joke around to lighten your mood but you never hoped he would prepare hot packs for you. Stomachache? He would be an expert by now. You often ate late so your gastritis would show its fang. He even remembered the brand of the medicine that you often bought. He's used to you vomiting for all sorts of reasons, from gastritis, food poisoning to hangover. Though after he found out that you truly couldn't eat spicy food because you would get diarrhea afterward, he decided not to push you to try spicy food anymore. Fever? Oh, it was a piece of cake for him. He probably knew the drill. Lots of liquid, compress or bath, and parasetamol. You remembered him staying out on the couch whenever you got sick. Now that you've been living together, even muscle cramps and just basic exhaustion were added to his latest caring skill. Basically, nothing he hasn't seen.

You were so lost in your thought that you didn't notice someone else walking into the lounge. Just when a pair of arms snaked around your waist did you pay attention to whom it belonged to. You sighed when he chuckled at your surprised reaction.

"Why are you here?" he snuggled closer.

"I just feel uncomfortable listening to their stories. Why are you here?" You turned around and raised an eyebrow. If they were talking in the right order, it was supposed to be his turn to share his story by now.

"Why not? You're not there," he simply said.

"Won't it be your turn by now?"

"What turn?"

You rolled your eyes, "Your turn to brag about you taking care of me numerous times," you mumbled and he chuckled at your sour expression.

"Why should I?" you looked up to stare into his eyes. He usually wouldn't miss any opportunity to brag so you wondered why this times he didn't grab the chance.

"Well.. You know, considering how your hyungs complained for their little chance to take care of their wives, I thought you'd be proud of your experties in taking care of me and rub it into their face," you felt embarrassment creeping up and shifted your gaze to your toes.

"No. That's my personal achievement. They don't need to know about it," he said softly. "After all, what good will it bring? It would just taint their ego and embarrass you and I don't want that. I want you to keep being you. I don't mind taking care of you. I don't mind you being fragile and got sick over stupid simple things. And I don't like sharing those moments," he pulled you into a hug.

"So... You won't mind giving me a massage after we got home?" you teased him and he laughed.

"Alright. Let me finish recording and we'll get to that," he pulled you back to the studio to make sure you waited for him this time.
