Cale walked past some rooms that voice claimed to have been for his dead friends;

A room filled with jewels,

A room filled with Weapons,

A room filled with Money,

A room filled with records... Cale should check that place out when he has time.

  But not right now, he can't hang around this place for too long for now. Time isn't in his favor at the moment. He still had to attend the ball that will be held in a few hours and before that, he still had to prepare himself--

Things will also become more complicated if Ron found out...

'Mm, these are the things that I collected. I kept it all whenever people gave me something to thank me for saving them.'

Cale had only briefly glanced at the other three rooms that were filled with even more materialistic things.

  They were beautiful, especially considering this place had probably been left alone for who knows how long-- they might even cost ten times, maybe even hundred times if Cale were to sell them to the right person...

But that's not what he was here for.

Cale climbed another set of stairs, and climbed again till he reached the fifth floor. The place where the owner claimed to be his place.

There was only one room there;

But it was the biggest amongst all the other rooms he had seen in the villa. Well, it was basically the entire fifth floor.

It was almost like his father's office in the capital house.

A study, a bedroom, and an office; In which, every single one of them were placed in that one room with no walls in between them to separate the sections.

'That is my power.'

Cale drift his attention away from the interior to the lone marble altar at the center of the room. It was a bit higher than Cale's waist.

The altar.. it looked like something that belongs in the Royal palaces' throne room where the coronations would happen.

Cale looked at the thing that the altar was showcasing; It was a small rock that was smaller than a baby's fist.

'Do you wish to gain my power?'

It was an odd question,

Why would he be here if he doesn't want the power?

"Yes," Cale answered, yet he swore he heard the voice chuckled a bit at his response,

'Then chew it!'

.

.

.

What...?

Cale's brain short circuited,

'It is easy to earn my power. However, my power only activates when you are protecting something. I want my power to only be used for justice!'

Ah...

Well, protecting is quite the vague word to describe the requirements to activate it.

'The will to not back away in front of any sort of danger! Justice and the power of good are what keeps the world safe!'

Are all of the ancient powers is just innately loud?

This was something Cale began to wonder. But his attention was soon directed to the words the voice shouted out in his head.
