Chapter 2, Warning

After pointlessly debating wether or not I should go back up into the upper floors I ended up going up anyways.

Only to be met with an impossible hurdle, it seems that there were now hundreds of those bat-like monsters patrolling the spiral stairs above, worse is they also have the black sludge located in them.

I really don't want to incur the wrath of a beast god that may have, most likely, frozen the floors of the labyrinth. Maybe I could have move past them using mirage and disorient but I really don't want to risk getting attack and fall down to my doom.

I can hear that there's water below but it's so deep that there's now mist covering it instead of fog this time, besides the water might've already frozen.

I ventured deeper, moving down the stairs whilst keeping my eyes on the bat-like monsters above me.

Thankfully the cold seemed to be going away as I continue to go down.

During my way I encountered a couple wooden doors, the same one from the previous floor. The first door I opened led me to that forest, the second one led me to another forest... Well if you can still call it that considering everything turned into ice, even the damn grass turned into ice and they're sharper than my claws for god sake.

The third door however didn't have as much snow and ice but it was still cold regardless.

As I continue to open each door I'm starting to realize that it was dumb of me to worry about Rusdy if his beast god caused all this, I also realize that the cold seemed to have abruptly subsided after the fifth door I opened.

The frozen waterfall seemed to have started to melt too, guess whatever the beast god was doing already ended. Hopefully I didn't incur its wrath by slashing Strorhinus though.

And just as the cold went and by, the heat comes in like a slap in the face, sometimes I hate this labyrinth and everything about it.

What?

Suddenly a warning screen appeared in front of me for some reason, did I do something wrong?

[Warning to all Labyrinthians]

Suddenly the stair begin to shake. The cylinder wall started to shift, twist, and turn, moving like that iphone game where you have to move the other blocks away to set the red block free.

The stairs I was standing had some parts of it turn into rectangle blocks and launch itselves away. With no time for me to even think, I panic and go down the stairs as fast as I can as large items ranging from spheres, triangles, and blocks flew everywhere in the air. I try to dodge some of them and land some which I could use to get myself further down before jumping to another anf another.

Until...

"Ack!" I growled.

Sphere went at me as if it was performing driveby kill when it hit me from the side. I don't know what happened to my bone broke but my chest and waist hurts like hell.

I jynx'd it and a train of thin triangle pieces pierced through my thigh, although I have [Pain Resistance] maxed out, the sudden jolt of it and the fact that it pierced through my bone cleanly like butter made me limp.
