We are such stuff as dreams are made off, and our little life is rounded with a sleep.

William Shakespeare The Tempest

208 AD, China

King Liu Bei looked at his strategist Zhuge Liang.

'We will be lost if the wind doesn't change.'

Zhuge Liang gaze was calm.

'We need time... but the wind will change...' he assured calmly, bowing his head respectfully.

'We don't have time. My wife's life is at stake.'

'Trust me my King. The wind... will change.'

Liu Bei was looking at his strategist for a long time. Then his gaze travelled to two people standing behind him for a moment.

He hesitantly nodded his head.

Zhuge Liang bowed deeply just as the soldiers behind him and slowly walked away, when the King gave him a sign with his hand.

Zhuge Liang walked outside of the King's tent and walked outside of the army's camp, followed by his two trusted men.

He looked at the bay and grass bending under the force of the wind. Bending in the wrong direction...

They succeeded in taking the arrows they desperately needed, but the numerically-superior forces of the northern warlord Cao Cao were still in favour of the weather. Their whole plan won't succeed if the force of the wind won't push the ships strong enough into their enemy direction.

Only their Queen play was keeping Cao Cao from attacking right now.

He turned to his two trusted soldiers, friends and... his hope.

Junjie and Tengfei's relationship was absolutely secretive. Nobody talked about it out loud. But everybody knew about it. They were protected by other soldiers, by their King and by Zhuge Liang...

They were the best warriors. Special ones. Adored and admired by others.

'Will the wind change?' Zhuge Liang asked, looking at Junjie.

Junjie looked around. His gaze fell on Red Cliffs, on the river and bay.

He nodded and smirked, he took a fan from behind his belt.

'It will.'

'Tengfei?' Zhuge Liang asked.

'I will join Huang Gai's troop,' he informed.

Zhuge Liang nodded and left them alone.

Junjie turned to Tengfei.

'I will join the King's troops. We will meet in the battle.' he said, smiling lightly. He looked at the sword attached to Tengfei's hip. 'But I'm always with you...'

Tengfei joined their foreheads for a second.

'See you soon...'

'See you soon...' Junjie whispered back, almost into Tengfei's lips.

When he was left alone on the field of grass he listened to the wind. Feeling and counting its waves and flows. He took a deep breath and when the next strong blow of the wind came he swung the fan in the opposite direction.

The wind got steady... as it was confused for a moment. Then again blow harder.

Junjie's skin started to glow a bit of white. The fan worked again. Convincing the wind to change the direction.
