I was finally out of the dining room. Not alone, no I had Mahad there walking with me.

"..you alright...lady ___?" Mahad looked at me concerned. I wasn't sure how to reply, I  was a bit shaken up by Seto.

"Ha....it will be alright... I and the Pharaoh are here." Mahad placed an arm over my shoulder gently, tilting me to the side so I could rest a bit on his side as we walked. My heart was still racing in frustration, and worry.

"I'll take you back to your room, is there really nothing you would like to eat..?"

"I-I'm not sure.....maybe soup..." I didn't want anything big.

"Hmm, there might be something I can actually do about that. The cook that makes our food wouldn't mind knowing it's for you."

"Really?"

Mahad nods his head. "Yes, they know you are a special guest of the King. A girl such as you makes them smile knowing you eat what they cook."

His words lighten my heart a bit. I still felt a cloud loom over me. "T-This is my room." I stopped at my new room. "R-really? I thought you shared one with the Pharaoh still?"

"W-well it was my request."

Mahad felt a bit embarrassed. "Oh, I'm sorry about thinking that. I really did not know."

"It's alright, it was only recent." I pulled myself away from Mahad and padded to my room. I was tired.., and my brain felt fried.

"Ah, before you go rest. Here." Out of thin air, Mahad cast a spell, and a soft fluffy violet blanket dropped into his arms. I looked at him with a question written on my face.

"H-how did."

"Well, it was easier to just summon it here. I had this made for you. May it ease your pain and help you rest more." Bowing his head slightly Mahad placed the extra soft blanket in my hands. The colour reminded me of his violet armour and Atem's eyes.

"Thank you, Mahad."

"It's no trouble, I'll return with that soup you want soon. Would you like me to lock your doors with a spell from the outside?"

"You can do that??"

He chuckles a bit. "Yes, no one can enter then only you can leave whenever you want. I can undo the spell once I bring you the food."

"Sure that will be nice."

I go into my room, and without a sound Mahad casts a spell and locks my door from the outside.

I stare into my new room. Ancient Egyptian future wasn't all horrible. The beds sadly were not all the same. At night sometimes the temp was bearable to sleep. The stone walls helped keep it cooler. According to Atem our rooms were in the cooler part of the palace.

Sadly the beds we had didn't have soft pillows. They had pillow-less beds or ones with headrests made of stone. At least they had soft thin blankets to make the bed feel softer.

I gripped the blanket Mahad gave me. I would be perfect to help me rest. I didn't really enjoy their headrest stone pillows. I just used a bed with the one side slightly elevated up kinda like a pillow. If i got really annoyed I could just roll up my cloak and stuff it under my head.

Sighing I removed my jewelry and day clothes. I took the brush Atem gave me and swept it through my hair. I rinsed out my mouth with some peppermint water and sunk into bed. I would bathe tomorrow morning. At this point I was too tired to think about food, I needed to lay down.

With my new blanket, I curled up on my bed.

( 30 min later)

Mahad was walking back with a bowl of red lentil soup, and a small loaf of bread. Dinner already ended in the palace.
