The prepared piece for the auditions is 'Piece of My World'. Please go to Class 3-A to meet Rook Hunt, the manager of applicants.

"This surely excites me!" Ace smirked, excited about the upcoming event. "It has its perks cause school clubs are gonna be busy with this event, so if we get accepted then we won't need to bother helping them!"

Deuce nodded, "It'll probably benefit my family's name if I end up getting accepted, but I'm fine with the sports club's tasks since they're not as busy as the other clubs," he stated. "Let me guess, you haven't tried singing or dancing before?" Pantherlily said, which received a nod from Deuce.

"Heard that Piece of My World is famous last year, with covers for dances, too," Ace shared. "Why don't we just look on the internet for the dance covers for the songs, don't cha think?" Happy suggested as he chew his fish.

"True, it'll be easy if we remember it," Ace agreed.

"That sounds like a good idea. Let me just watch some vids," Carla snapped her fingers and took (Name)'s phone out of her pocket (the one given by the Headmaster). "Ever since you got that phone, you've been browsing the internet," Grim said as he rolled his eyes.

"I'm using this phone for important issues," Carla told the grey cat. Grim huffed and looked away from Carla, "In any case, I'll be registering myself for the event! Imma show y'all my dancing ability!" He bragged.

"I can't imagine you dancing with that kind of physique," Carla teased, smirking at the angry Grim who was offended. "I must say I'll pass on this one. I highly doubt I'll get accepted," Deuce declined.

"Just learn to play along, man~," Ace poked Deuce's shoulder. The blue-berry head shook his head, not agreeing to Ace's proposition, "I don't want to audition if we aren't serious about it in the first place. It's a waste of time."

Happy stick his tongue out, "You're no fun, Deuce. You know that everyone can try out, right? We'll be fine if we try at least, you know," he explained to Deuce. Pantherlily scoffed, "No need to force Deuce if he doesn't want to. If you and Ace will audition, I'll bet you'll be coming back to the dorms, crying about not getting selected." He told the blue exceed.

"Hey! Don't be so pessimistic, Lily!" Ace chided the black exceed, who only huffed. "As a wise person would say, we need to do our best to reach the top! I'll show you what we're capable of!" He tried to convince the two.

"He has a point, yanno! Just thinking about the prize money, I can taste the tuna cans coming to me!" Grim exclaimed. "Shut up, Grim. Don't be naive," Carla reprimanded.

"Whatever, we'll be thinking about it," Pantherlily told Ace, with Deuce nodding. "Sure, sure. Also, we need to be quick, our next teacher is Professor Crewel. I'm one of the cleaners, so we need to eat fast before he gets to the Laboratory room," Deuce said.

"True, lunch is gonna end soon," Carla stated as Grim started to chow his food in a wild way. It's quite embarrassing, to say the least.

- Colleseum -

"Fix your posture, Ms. Heartfilia!" Crewel yelled from the audience, guiding the poor Princess. "You need to be graceful, so it'll encourage the audiences to vote for us, too! You'll be representing the school, not just the contestants!" He stated.

"You can do it, (Name)! Frosch believes in you!" Frosch cheered from the bleachers. "Make sure to pronounce the words properly! Don't sound like you're chewing your announcement," Trein added.

"I'm hungry," (Name) murmured to the mic.

- After Class, Courtyard -

Exhausted after the lecture Crewel, they still went to the courtyard to practice, "I bet (Name)'s still going on with the rehearsals for her announcement on the stage," Carla stated as she placed a speaker on the bench. "At least she doesn't need to suffer the Class of Professor Crewel. Having class after lunch is tiring..." Grim murmured.

"Hey, we're not here to slack off!" Ace chided, stomping his foot. Until they heard someone singing near them, the voice is faint, but surely a person is present. "Hey, did you hear that?" Happy asked, searching for the voice.

"What a beautiful voice," Pantherlily commented. Then the voice coughed midway, "Damn, that's rough. Ruined the whole mood when I heard his voice," Ace said as they went to where the voice is.

Carla slapped the back of his head, "As if you can do better than him," she hissed. Once they hid behind a bush, then the one singing groaned in annoyance, "Singin' out of nowhere sounds stupid..." He sighed, it was the same lavender-haired man who bumped Deuce. Without realizing it, the lavender-haired man heard a rustling, causing him to turn around. "Who's there?!"

"We're sorry for startling you!" Happy bowed. "We're sorry for bothering you, but uh..." Deuce must've noticed it was the same guy who bumped him, "If my memory isn't wrong, you're that guy who bumped in the main street last time," he pointed out.

The lavender-haired man scratched his head, "Ah, I forgot to say sorry about that..." He apologized. "Oh, no. It's fine, don't worry. You're Epel Felmier, right?" Deuce asked.

"Yes—How did you know my name?" Epel cautiously asked. "Jack told us when you suddenly bumped into me. You two are classmates, right?" Deuce, once again, asked the Pomefiore first-year student. Epel nodded, "Yes, I and Jack-san are classmates. You two are Ace-san and Deuce-san. And the rest are Grim-san, Lily-san, Happy-san, and Carla-san," the lavender-haired man recited their names.

"Great, he knows who we are~!" Grim grinned, probably proud. "We're that famous here!" Happy cheered.

"Yeah, famous for your chaos the last months," Carla whispered, pinching her nose as she looked down in embarrassment. "You guys were the stars of the show in Magift Tournament," Epel chuckled, much as their dismay. "God, I wish everyone could forget that incident..." Ace whispered.

"Also, why are you singing on the well, Epel?" Deuce questioned. Epel smiled shyly, "I can hear my voice clearly if I sing on the well. Pomefiore's dorm leader—Vil-senpai—told me to practice singing here."

Deuce had a big question mark above his head, "Is singing required as a Pomefiore student?" Epel scratched his cheek when Deuce brought that up. Ace slapped the back of Deuce's head, "They're in Pomefiore, not Heartslabyul, moron. They don't require stupid things like that," he answered the blue-haired's question.

"Deserve," Happy snicked above Ace's head. "He's not wrong. Pomefiore doesn't need singing requirements to enter the dorm. I'm practicing because of the upcoming Vocal and Dance Competition," Epel added. "That's amazing, Epel-san," Carla clapped her hands.

"I—I was told to practice on how to sing better so that people will adore me..." Epel told them. "I wish that competition never existed..."

"I'm sorry, I didn't catch that bit," Deuce tried to ask Epel another question until someone arrived. "Epel. Are you forgetting to practice just to talk to some random potatoes?"

     "Ah!"
