Min Yoongi never wanted a soulmate. As far as he was concerned, he only had time in his life for his music and his members. He didn't like the idea of depending on another person for survival and he knew all too well how much of a pain that could be...
Crystal walks among their group, sending pictures she'd just taken at the Van Gogh museum she'd just visited to her mom and sisters. Earlier that day they'd touched down in Amsterdam, their current tour stop. The boys' show would be held tomorrow night at the Ziggo Dome and just three days later, they'd be in Berlin, Germany for another.
Not wanting to waste any of the little time they have to sight see, they'd researched places they wanted to go and booked some activities ahead of time. Right now, their group consists of herself, Yoongi, Tae, Jimin, and Joon. They'd been out and about for about 3 hours now visiting museums they'd managed to book private tours for and the Van Gogh museum had been the last stop before they were supposed to meet back up with the others for dinner. However, there were two vans waiting for them outside.
"Is that the others?" Crystal asks, placing her phone back in her purse.
"Nope, we're going somewhere else," Yoongi says, offering her his hand with a sly smile.
"Enjoy your date you two," Jimin calls, waving as he awaited his turn to get inside the other van.
"We will. Don't wait up," Yoongi calls back and Crystal gives him a curious look once she's seated.
"It's a surprise so don't ask," he says, shutting her down before she could.
"Alrighty then, I'll just enjoy the ride," she chuckles, her nose scrunching as he grabs her hand and joins their fingers, pulling them up to his lips so he could kiss the back.
He knows she's not keen on surprises but she wasn't going to throw a fit or anything. She understands that he's being spontaneous as well as wanting to help her relax. That morning, he'd hidden her phone and laptop while he gave her an impromptu massage and arranged for breakfast in bed afterwards. She found it sweet how happy and fulfilled acts of service for her made him. She could never rain on his parade, so she'd just endure it and take whatever he was offering gratefully and with no fuss.
They look out the windows on the drive, marveling at the architecture. Amsterdam is utterly breathtaking from the beautiful structures to the abundance of canals lined with twinkling lights. By sight alone, it gives off an old world feel, like you've time traveled into a different time period—one filled with romance and blithe.
From what they've seen of the people, they seemed happy and laid back, no one even turning a head at the same sex couples they'd seen. They don't call it one of Europe's most open minded cities for nothing. Crystal liked that. Even the people that had recognized them either just waved and smiled, a few snapping pictures before going about their way.
"We should come back here one day," Yoongi says, breaking the silence in the van.
"We should. I wouldn't mind exploring more," Crystal says.
With the show being tomorrow, they wouldn't get to. Technically, she and Sehee could, but she had a few assignments due as her next module of coursework opens in the morning; and Sehee had been getting lots of calls and collab requests for her photography work. After the show, the boys would be too tired and their flight to Berlin was the morning after anyways.
The sky had just begun to darken and it felt like they were watching the city wake up as more and more buildings turned on their lights for the night.
"Look at that! Is that part at the top rotating like the one in Daegu?" Crystal asks, her eyes alight as she looks up at a tall building close by.
