The 20 students of Mr. Aizawa's homeroom stood in small clusters around their gaunt looking Hero tactics teacher listening with varying degrees of intensity to the exercise they would be going through today. Some were already planning how they would proceed, some were focused on achieving the highest marks possible to show improvement over their last evaluation scores, and others were anxious to see how their peers would handle the different scenarios they were about to be exposed to. One might have been dozing off while standing. Hard to tell.

"We will take turns so that you may all observe your classmates. Each scenario will be different so each approach will need to be unique. This makes our training more realistic since no two situations you face will ever be the same. As you all know from your own experiences, how you react to any situation depends not only on those you face but also those you are working with. For example, if we were facing the same Villian under the same circumstances my way of subduing the attacker would have been very different to how Present Mic or Vlad King would approach the situation due to the nature of our quirks."

Walking over to the floating electronic board, All Might pulled up a list of groups before continuing. "Group 1 will be a set of three Heros and 1 Villain. The goal will be location and capture. If the Villain reaches the safe zone, the Heros lose but if the Heros keep the Villain restricted until the end of time or are able to apprehend the Villain with capture tape then the Heros win. However, if there is no encounter at all then both sides lose so waiting out the time limit is not an option." Briefly bulking into his muscle form and holding up the now very familiar tape for emphasis, the former Symbol of Piece flashed his signature smile to the group.

"Young Todoroki, you will be the Villain. Ojiro, Kaminari, and Asui: you will be the Heros. Shoto the Villain will have a 5 min head start to find a hidden position and plan an escape route." The dual quirk user nodded before disappearing into the mazework of pipes and scaffolding as the rest of the class, minus the three that would be searching for him, headed to the surveillance room.

When the 5 minutes was up the three Heros worked efficiently together with Ojoro using his tail to scout ahead and reveal the Villain's location while Asui circled around the other side working to corral the target towards the aptly nicknamed Pikachu. It was all going rather well for the group until a certain yellow-eyed blonde miscalculated one of his stronger attacks. His voltage was completely blocked by an almost instantly appearing oversized ice wall and Denki was rendered useless from the aftermath of his own strike.

Once the electric quirk user was incapacitated, a fire wall trapped Froppy leaving only Tailman and Shoto to face off one-on-one style. Unfortunately, there was no opportunity to see how well the martial arts expert would fare against the pride of Endeavor as time ran out. Once the four students made their way up to the observation room All Might reviewed their strengths and weaknesses before preparing the next group.

"Group 2 will be evenly split between Villains and Heros. This will be a surveillance based scenario. Heros must locate and capture the Villains to win while the Villains must remain undetected and reach the safe zone to be victorious. Any other result will mean both teams lose. Dynamite and Deku will be the Villains while Can't Stop Sparkling and Earphone Jack will play the Heros." As their teacher explained the details of their scenario, the about-to-be-Villains stood at opposite ends of the room with their respective squads. Though, that in no way meant they were not still paying attention to one another. The fiery blonde flashed a wicked grin and a certain middle finger at his partner who presented his signature 100 watt smile and made a gesture of peace in return.

Bakugo arched an eyebrow and maintained his (vulgar) polite gesture as a few classmates took note and started to snicker at the exchange before their jaws dropped in total shock. None of them could have possibly been mentally prepared for what they saw next. Slowly, the curly haired teen's angelic smile turned almost feral. At the same time his wrist spun almost cautiously around while the pointer finger in his peace sign dramatically lowered.

Turned from the main class as he addressed a question from Ida, the former Symbol of Peace was not able to see his successor who stood directly behind him. It was a good thing too. There, in front of everyone, Izuku flicked off his childhood friend and partner wearing almost a photo negative of his usual expression. Had they not all seen it for themselves, no one would have believed it.

Fortunately for the greenette and blonde, each had released their (vulgar) loving gestures and replaced their predatory grins with smirks by the time their instructor finished speaking to their engine quirk classmate. None-the-wiser, All Might turned back to the class and informed the seemingly feuding pair that they would have a 7 minute head start due to the nature of the exercise. After a thumbs up and a 'tch' the two headed for the door back to the training area. As the pair made their way to the grounds a whispered conversation quickly ensued and the few sets of eyes still trained on them snickered as they appeared to argue.

Out of earshot of the others, and certain Jiro was NOT using her quirk yet, the two bickered as they planned their strategy. "Why not two? One is so hard to get too, that's not fair on the others." Emerald eyes shone with concern for his friend's scores.

"Are you fucking serious Deku? You WANT the extras to find our spots?"

You see, while it may have looked like a simple all be it amusing teenage exchange of attitudes to everyone else, the gestures the 'Wonder Duo' were flashing were a code. It was a strategy the future partner's used to denote the different blind spots they had discovered in the training grounds over the last few months. Position two was under a large construction crane while position one was behind a series of oversized pipes. Just like the first blind spot they discovered, this one also seemed to go underground into an unknown sub-basement.

"That's not what I meant, Kacchan. I just don't want to cheat is all. I'm kind of shocked you DO."

"Are you shitting me Dumbass? It's not cheating to win, and nothing in All Might's rules said anything that would mean we can't use one. Plus one has a direct shot at the safe zone. The Glitter Troll won't be able to find us unless we announce where we are but Hot Topic is no joke when it comes to tracking. Especially with all this metal around and I don't know how much more time we have before they come out so zip it." Understanding flashed across emerald eyes and a nod confirmed agreement as the pair now silently made their way into position.

A few minutes after settling into their secret location the pair heard the booming announcement by their trainer that the Heros were now on the move. Seriously, did the man use his muscle form JUST to boost his voice or something? Was this some kind of competition with Present Mic they didn't know about? Izuku made a mental note to look into it later.

Knowing from several previous training sessions in ground gamma that the hidden basement they were in now was unmonitored, the pair smiled at one another, pleased with their choice. Speaking only with hand gestures and their eyes to avoid the keen hearing of their purple-haired pursuer, the duo engaged in their favorite pastime of late. They were less than 30 yards from the safe zone and had a full twenty minutes to get there. Might as well kill a little time first, right?

Leaning against the wall farthest from the entrance, the greenette linked his fingers together behind soft blonde locks and held his partner close. At first the ruby-eyed teen propped himself against the cold metal with both arms but he soon craved the warmth of the body in front of him. Shifting his strong limbs around a slim toned and powerful waist, Kacchan drew the other false Villain closer. Eyes locked together before changing focus to slightly parted lips and softly darting tongues.

Almost a month of stolen kisses and secret meetups to indulge in tasting one another's mouths had led to what some might call an addiction. Each boy HAD to feel the other near them, even if they were just sitting side by side in class, in the commons, or at lunch. They NEEDED to touch and taste the lips they couldn't get enough of at every opportunity. In short, it seemed they just couldn't do without some kind of contact anymore.

Concerns early on about their budding relationship influencing their focus in training and how they would behave with their friends were lost after a week or two when no one around them seemed to notice what was happening. If this was going to have a negative or noticeable effect on their performances someone would have spoken up about suspicions by now, right?

Right.
