Katsuki rubbed his rib to soothe the ach from his fiance's deliberate elbow while glaring at the greenette. "Don't say that about Ura."

"Whatever." Turning back to the now murmuring group of reporters, the ruby-eyed man continued. "Deku here has had the same boyfriend since UA. They've been together for nearly ten years." Shocked gasps filled the small space as hands shot into the air eager to no doubt find out who could have been with their beloved Broccoli Boi for so long without anyone publicly revealing it.

"Dynamight has also been in a committed long term relationship since our days in UA and he would never be unfaithful. All the articles and interviews about people claiming to be his lovers since his debut have all been bullshit. Those slanderous and unfounded lies DID make his partner rather angry at times, but he never believed a word of any of them." Looking away from the throng of reporters and smiling at his love, Midoriya's face turned positively devilish as he added the last part loud enough for everyone to hear. "Afterall, you would never even dream of cheating on me. Would you Kacchan?"

"No way Nerd. I choose life, thanks." Decidedly NOT innocent smirks took over both Hero's faces as they turned back to the gathered crowd.

There was something of a delay before all hell broke loose and the reporters began to abandon all sense of organization. Questions were shouted at the couple who turned back to one another now with wide smiles on both their handsome faces. The two barely heard the commotion in front of them as they were lost in themselves for a moment.

This was it. They had revealed their true relationship to the public. And Deku cursed at them too! This press conference would either boost the plans that prompted the whole incident in the first place, or end both of their careers today. What was that old British saying again? In for a penny in for a pound?

As if linked together telepathically they both nodded and turned back to the reporters before holding up their ungloved left hands to display their now uncovered rings. The questions amped up at that and it was almost impossible to hear the pair speak before All Might took up the mic once more settling everyone down.

Once the crowd was quiet again, Deku took the lead. "I went to see Dynamight at the bakery to bring him some papers I needed him to sign. While I was there he proposed and I accepted. We haven't discussed a date or anything yet since it was only a few days ago but when we get to start planning our wedding we hope you will all respect our privacy. Something like this is for close friends and family, not a public spectacle even if we are the number 2 and 3 Heros."

With that an old habit resurfaced as the greenette began rubbing the back of his neck but his nervousness was unfounded. The sound of soft clapping began somewhere amongst the crown and slowly built up to be thundering applause of cheers and congratulations. Tears built up in his eyes as Izuku turned once more to face a still smiling Katsuki before being pulled into a firm hug.

Relief surged through both and soon they pulled apart only slightly before capturing one another's lips in a deep kiss. The area began to slowly empty as reporters ran off to be the first to release the news to the public leaving the four current and one former Hero behind along with a small crew of sidekicks that would remove the conference equipment for them.

"Well I believe that went rather well, don't you?" Toshinori's voice was full of emotions he couldn't quite label at that moment. He wasn't sure why but he felt rather overwhelmed with the day's events.

"I agree with you Sir. As much as I have enjoyed having Deku with us at the Tower this last decade, it will be hard to see him go." Turning from All Might to the greenette Spector continued. "The press's reactions today give me reassurance that you will do well Midoriya."
