"Alright ya little shit. Why don't you go fill in All Might. His office is that one over there. I'm sure he'd rather hear the news from you than me and he'll know who should go with you to check things out if Quake can track him down. I'd say let us handle this but I know damn well you don't plan to sit this one out." Flurry ruffled her intern's blonde spikes as she smirked at him. Usually it was hard to mess with the boy's hair considering his Hero costume, but since he was in his civies this was her chance! It was a lot softer than she anticipated.

Grumbling and swatting away her long digits, Bakugo glared back. "You'd have to kill me first."

"See? And you think I don't pay attention to you. Bad puppy. Now shoo, I'll tell Spector what's going on. When you finish with All Might go change." A growl, an eye roll, and a dismissive wave met her words as the tall sapphire-eyed Pro watched her slightly more lively (minion) subordinate head towards the Tower's founder.

Releasing a slight sigh of relief and frustration she turned to open the door of her supervisor's office. Dynamite would never willingly admit to weakness, but it would be obvious to anyone who knew the boy even casually that he was not at his best. His fire was noticeably diminished and that meant his walls were cracked. The temperamental teen was surrounded by nearly impenetrable metaphorical walls making him hard to get close to. Only a handful had ever managed in his life and having the most important one of them gone it was a wonder he was holding up as well as he was. What would the added weight of the same quirk attack that took his partner away have on him in his vulnerable state?

As soon as the bluette closed the door behind herself Spector was ready. "Do we have any updates?" Pushing his glasses higher on the bridge of his nose, the dark eyed man looked at his subordinate as she took a seat in one of his comfortable chairs.

"A few, actually. First: Sagasu thinks she's saw Deku. Two sectors over she spotted someone with black hair that matches his body type exactly. Quake is familiarizing themselves with Green Bean's footsteps now. When they're ready they will head out to the area and see if they can locate him on the ground."

Nodding, the stoic analyst was happy with the possible quick progress. "If he has been missing for almost two weeks the chances of him still being in a familiar area is remote but we do need to follow up any lead. The boy is exceptionally bright and if he truly wanted to disappear he would stay far from here, the school, and his home. However, I suspect it is possible he will stay close by. He is very attached to Dynamight as well as his other classmates and family. I believe he may risk being found if it means he can keep watch over them."

"Makes sense I guess. He went through all this specifically to protect them, I'd want to make sure they were ok after all that if it were me. I don't think it's gonna be this easy though. Even if that WAS Deku that she spotted, the little shit probably already has some kind of travel route to keep himself hidden. He can overthink at times but when he needs to take action he won't hesitate, though in this case taking action is what he wants to avoid. He knows Quake and he knows we have Sagasu so I'm sure it will be something underground. We should prepare to check the trains." Flurry sat back in her seat as she watched her direct supervisor make notes. She could use a drink right about now. Telling this man that Might Tower's head receptionist was most likely the Villain that had attacked her missing minion was gonna suck.

"You said there was more news? What else do you need to update me about?" Leaning forward, the analysis Hero could tell that whatever he was about to hear was not good by the look on Flurry's otherwise attractive features.

"I might have found the Villain that attacked Deku."

"That would be fantastic news, which is the opposite of what your face is telling me."

"If I'm right I think they might have just attacked Dynamight."

"Just? As in today?"

"Yes sir. Less than an hour ago to be precise." Sitting back and taking a deep breath, Specter called for his secretary. Once the average looking younger man entered he bowed to his boss while waiting for instructions.

"I need Mr. Ghast without alerting anyone else in the building." Without a word the brunette bowed again and slowly disappeared. "Mr. Watanabe will be back shortly. While we wait, please tell me which of our employees is a potential Villain in disguise?"

"Sometimes I forget how smart you are Specs. It's freaky. All I said is they might have attacked my little Pomeranian and you call in Ghast."

Adjusting his glasses once more, the analysis quirk user explained. "If the boy was attacked less than an hour ago it happened within the Tower. He has not left since his portal arrival with All Might, so there is no other explanation."

"It could have been a visitor in the lobby." The tall bluette had no reason to question the black eyed man but damn she loved to challenge him.

"No one who is not employed by Might Tower has entered today aside from Bakugo, technically. Now tell me who it is you suspect, or should I pull up surveillance and figure it out myself? That might take a full ten minutes ad I'd like to be ready when Mr. Watanabe returns with Mr. Ghast." The almost bored look on the Pro's face made his companion want to slap it off him.

"THIS. This is why you can never get a date. Anyway, its Kaede." The blank stare she received confirmed the aloof man was not familiar with the receptionists. "Front deck, tall-ish, huge chest, black hair"

"Ahh, Ms. Nakamura. And what makes you suspect she is the person we are looking for?" Hands interlaced on top of his large desk, Specter activated his quirk. "Be specific."

"She flagged us down in the lobby asking about why everyone is all worked up so I took her to the side to explain. I figured since she sees everyone who comes and goes so there was an off chance she might have seen Deku. That didn't pan out. I left Dynamight with her and went to see Sagasu but I changed my mind and decided to take him up with me. When I turned back to get him she was talking to him with this voice. I mean it was her voice, but different? There was like this echo to it. Almost like I was hearing her from underwater or something. Not like Quakes reverberations, this was different. What she was saying to him was suspicious too. She was talking about Alice in Wonderland, but that wasn't the weird part. Well it WAS weird, but she said she ran into Deku on the street a while ago. She said he was a little rabbit looking for the Vorpal sword and she spoke to him in her true voice and how that somehow makes Katsuki the Bandersnatch. I don't get the literary part of all this, I might be missing something there, but it was the 'true voice' thing that caught me. What if the eerie voice is her real quirk and SHE is the one that got to Midoriya? If she is then I think somehow that conversation with Blondie just now was another attack."

"Perhaps. We will need to observe her and see if we can find cause to suspect her. Obviously we will review the security for that hallway first. We need to keep close watch over Dynamight for now as well. Safer to assume you are correct until we know otherwise. That being the case, what is the end game? Were these two targeted specifically? If it were just Deku out on the street I could believe it were a random attack of convenience, but if his partner was also attacked then that seems unlikely. We must also take into account that if this is true she also went to the trouble of being hired to work amongst us for months after her initial attack. If she is indeed the one we are seeking then that move was to keep an eye on her victim. So why? Why these specific trainees? What does she hope to accomplish? Is she acting alone or is she part of an organization? What does her quirk really do and how can it be deactivated? CAN it be reversed?"

"Damn Specs, that's a lot of questions."

"You were not thinking the same?"

"No, I was. I am. But still, it's a lot of 'whys'."

"Agreed. Seeing as they specialize in surveillance I'm going to contact the Hawks agency. We have a suspect now so perhaps they will be able to help uncover some answers. In the meantime take Dynamight and All Might, assuming he would like to accompany you, and go with Quake." The tall sapphire-eyed Hero stood and saluted her supervisor causing the rather serious man to roll his own onyx orbs in irritation.
