"Soooooo are you planning to go to bed now, or do we have a little more time before you abandon me to suffer all alone and cold in-" The mouth currently sealed over his own stopped the guilt trip the explosion quirk user was trying to lay out. The soft and gentle kiss from earlier was quickly replaced with more fevered ones that left both Katsuki and Izuku desperate for breath after a few short minutes.

Each boy seemed determined to provide the other as much of a distraction from the upcoming separation as possible with hands that wandered and gripped every part of the other's body. Blunt nails left angry red tracks down shoulders and back muscles while deep purple bruises began to form on necks and chests. The heat that filled the room had nothing to do with quirks as clothes were discarded, and instant erections made their need known to all.

The two future Pro partners put the dorm's sound proofing to the test as they proceed to enjoy each other's bodies in every way they ever had to date.

Yet, despite their hunger for one another and despite an unexplainable desperation each felt neither was prepared for the final line to be crossed. They had already agreed to wait for that final leap until after they graduated, having long since abandoned the notion of moving slowly, but even that accord was not the invisible barrier that held them back now. They were both unstable and they knew it. They would not take the final step in their physical relationship until they were both more in control with everything outside of it.

And so, an hour later found the pair at the showers dressing in clean sleepwear and sharing one last hug for the night before parting ways until the morning. If either had known how bad the night ahead would be, neither would have agreed to go through with the separation.

Midoriya's screams in the dead of night nearly cracked the glass of his windows as they woke both of his neighbors despite the soundproof walls. Those whose misfortune was to be near Bakugo's room were also jolted from their sleep but by the very different means of a distinctive alarm. All students with fire related quirks had said alarms as a precaution in case their quirk went off when they were unaware. Much to the concern of those on his floor, the scorched drapes and black soot stains on the wall by the bed would tell the story of the blonde's prescription and Deku free night.

Unfortunately for everyone in class 2A, that was only the first of many similar nights to follow and soon it was impossible for their teachers not to get involved. Both Hound Dog and Midnight ordered Katsuki to begin taking his sleeping pills, promising to look into alternatives with less side effects. His sessions were increased back to weekly but so far he was not in danger of losing his position in the Hero course due to his cooperation.

For his part Izuku had started on antianxiety medication in hopes it would help along with meditation and calming tea. It was a similar starting approach the staff had taken to Bakugo's frightening night terrors and panic attacks last year.

One of the biggest components to a successful recovery, according to Hound Dog, was a support system but in true Bakugo fashion the ruby-eyed teen's anxiety only increased as he opened up to his best friend when everyone moved into Heights Alliance for the first time. Only the teachers, Kirishima, and now Deku knew the depth of the blonde's sleeping and panic issues making treatment challenging. At the time, Midnight had suggested switching to the sleep aids and a mild anxiety medication to combat the boy's issues. While the nightmares were far less under control these days the feisty youth no longer had panic attacks unless he was completely physically restrained.

He doesn't talk about the award ceremony at the sports festival in year 1. Inu and Kayama had chastised the staff and even Principle Nezu of the incident. Everyone assumed he was raving mad at the time and he would like to keep it that way thank you very much. No one needed to know he was out of his mind with panic.
