~~** The calm before the storm. **~~

"Fucking finally! Let's go Deku. What the hell took you and Discount Elsa so fucking long? Where the hell is the damn portal? I can't wait to get out of this shithole." Arms crossed, signature scowl firmly in place, eyebrow twitching in aggravation Bakugo stood outside of Spector's office. No one else was in the hallway, but there should be several sidekicks and assistants moving through the passage from one area to the other. Where was everyone?

The answer turned out to be quite simple: anywhere Dynamight was not. The heat of Bakugo's foul mood was practically visible as even some of the various Pro's working under All Might's name went out of their way to avoid the hostile youth. Most days they knew to just ignore the grumpy blonde's tantrum-like moods but the deadly aura around the ruby-eyed student was particularly intimidating today.

No, they were not scared. But they weren't stupid either.

It would seem that a full day of being told how to act and what not to say was just too much for the boy's professional filter. Typically, Katsuki was able to at least hold his tongue when at the agency but the amount of curse words being released in just the last few seconds was testament to how beyond his tolerance he had been pushed.

Unconsciously, Deku activated his ultimate super power as he approached his counterpart and beamed at him with one of those eye watering smiles that always made the other melt. "That's not a nice thing to say about the agency Kacchan. Didn't you have fun today learning more about the importance behind the social aspects of what it will be like after we graduate and start doing real Hero work?"

Both teens missed the looks of relief on several Hero's faces as they watched from a (safe) cautious distance. Only the freckled innocent-faced youth could deactivate the Baku-bomb so easily. How more of them had not caught on to the true nature of the pair's relationship already was beyond Flurry and Spector's understanding. Really, it was obvious. Watching the two interns now calmly compare notes about their day resulted in a few chuckles as everyone else returned to their usual duties. Including one timid mail carrier who had been avoiding taking a personal letter to Spector's office for the last fifteen minutes.

Deku started telling the slightly taller youth about some of the kids he talked with at the school, including one who had not been there last time with a quirk similar to the explosions Katsuki used. For his part the blonde promised to explain in detail his boring day once they were back at school working on their report. "No reason to go through the same lame ass details twice."

Ten minutes went by quickly and soon the two found themselves back at UA thanking Aperture and heading towards the dorms to change and make some dinner, once their stomachs settled. As they sat at one of the tables in the common room surrounded by their classmates, the couple talked about Midoriya's day since it was far more interesting to the ruby-eyed teen than office work.

As they chatted something Ida had offhandedly mentioned reminded Izuku of his strange encounter with the female citizen on his way to meet Flurry. However, while he was telling his partner about the oddness of the exchange the two became slightly sidetracked.

"Wait, so this chick you walked into -great job by the way. How the hell are you gonna make it as a Pro if you can't even look where the hell you're walking dumbass? Anyway, this chick: she said you were pretty? That's fuckin' weird Nerd."

"I'm not pretty?" Nearly choking on the tea he had just taken a drink of, class 2A's Boom Boom Boi was caught completely off guard.

"Hah?"

Tilting his head and looking innocently at his boyfriend, the greenette blinked as he repeated his question. "Was she wrong? Do you think I'm NOT pretty?" It was so hard not to laugh as the other began to grow increasingly flustered. He's so cute when he blushes like that. It's so rare for him not to know what to say right away, this is fun!
