While the students of UA's prestigious 'Star Class' were returning to their temporary homes on school grounds, a very different group of comrades were having a gathering of their own.

"How can you idiots have so much trouble tracing three CHILDREN?! The boss is losing his patience with your shit. If you're not careful he may decide to try out his plan on YOU instead. It wouldn't be nearly as effective but we'd make it work."

"It's not our fault! The little fucks are never alone, dammit. After all those attacks last year by that asshole Shigaraki and his emo boy band the school upped its security to fucking paranoid levels. They even made it a standard policy for all students to be housed on the fucking campus now so the only time they leave is when they are with shitty Pro assholes on their work study. Those damn Heroes at the school aren't stupid either. The brats can get a day pass to leave on their own but even that's a fucking headache to get around. The pass requests only go through a day or two ahead of time so there's not enough warning for our intel to let us know. We got lucky a few times but even then they are always in pairs or groups. Don't know if it's coincidence or by design but the spoiled little shits never seem to go anywhere alone. But let's say one of the little asshole wannabes DID run away from that rat and his pose, then what the fuck do we do? They may just be kids but we don't have a death wish. Any one of those three could kill me if they wanted to. I may be a worthless piece of shit but I don't have a damn death wish. I'm not going anywhere near them. The boss can threaten a dead man all he wants." Crossing his arms, Squall glared at the middleman sent to check on his and his partner's progress. If you could even call it that.

"Master Igishi does not expect you to engage the young Heroes, he merely expects you to find the ideal time and target so we can send in HER. She will be the one to make direct contact, not YOU you pathetic insect. But we need to know their patterns outside of the school in order to do that. Any attack on UA grounds would be pointless. We're talking about three teenage boys, there has to be some kind of weakness we can make work for us. Hot blooded youths MUST be pursuing a love life of some kind, what about going out on dates? Do they have any regular outings aside from the internships?"

"Endeavor's kid only leaves to go to the those rich fuckers the Yaoyorozus, the ward his old man has his brood mare is housed in, or the Todoroki home which is crawling with staff lackeys. When he goes to the Yaoyorozu joint he's with their eldest and the heir to the family. He's always accompanied by either his father or a subordinate from the Endeavor agency, and the hospital security is presidential level." Scabbs report garnered no insight as he spoke in his usual bored tone.

"That explosion asshole always seems to be with at least one other of the 2A shits. But that's rare. He only goes out maybe once a month? Never seems to be his idea. Kids more of a homebody nerd than you'd think." The blue haired male shrugged. He didn't care for this assignment. He hated having to see his sister. They hadn't spoken since his parents cast him out five years ago.

"What about the green one? He was Shigaraki's favorite. Igishi would prefer if it were him to show up the withered jackass if possible."

"He's a mix but kind of the worst of the three. Goes out plenty but he's some kind of social magnet. He's always in groups, or with the Bakugo kid. Apparently those two are planning to be partners and spend almost all their extra time training instead of being teenagers. Fucking odd."

"When those two do go out together without the others, what do they do?"

"What do you mean? They go do shit. Kid shit. Movies, food, shopping. Nothing useful. The Midoriya fuck seems to actually be friends with the firecracker. Might be the only one since his personality seems to be worse than Scabbs."

"Fuck you too friend."

"Perhaps THAT is useful in itself. It seems unlikely that we will have an opportunity to strike against the Todoroki kid because he's either with Pros or with that crazy protected family. So, that leaves the duo. Even if they aren't alone, they also aren't with Pros. Drop surveillance on the one. Focus on the pair. Is there any kind of pattern to their little play dates? Do they go to the same places? At the same time? Do they walk the same routes? Any commonalities can be used to find an opening for HER. That's all we need. Just a prediction of where they will be so she can isolate one of them and strike. So, Scabbs, you're on the green one. Squall you follow the blonde one. That includes when they are with your sister. It's harder to keep two interns constantly under foot compared to one so there's bound to be times they are sent out on their own or left for a time without her. Find the opening we need, or answer to the boss." All three Villains nodded before downing the last of their respective drinks and leaving the bar to go their separate ways.

"Come on dumbass! You aren't even trying are you? If you're not gonna go all out Hair for Brains then I'll train against somebody else. Getting you sent to Recovery Girl cause you lost focus and got your ass blown up is NOT on my to-do list today. GOT IT!?" Glaring at his best friend, Katsuki grit his teeth together in frustration. The blonde had been really trying since the class trip to make sure he split his time between his supposed squad, his training, and his boyfriend. It was obvious to everyone that Kirishima was still not totally comfortable being around Midoriya and as much as he would claim the opposite, the explosion quirk user hated the ongoing tension and its effects.

How could he not? The two most important people in his private non-Hero life were basically rivals. He hated seeing the defeated look in matching scarlet colored eyes when Eijiro saw Deku. It wasn't the same as the heartbreaking look in the greenet's gaze when he looked at Kirishima, but it was similar. Bakugo hated not being able to do anything for either of them but knew they just needed more time. Or more precisely, the false redhead needed it.

"Sorry man, my head just isn't in the game for some reason." Rubbing the back of his head, Red Riot threw his training opponent his best (forced) signature bright and toothy smile.

"I hate that fake ass expression. You should wipe it off your face. It doesn't suit you." Scoffing and looking behind him to where his scattered and unfocused sparring opponent was unconsciously watching. The short-tempered teen immediately knew the problem when he saw green lightning flash across the surface of the plateau in the distance. Determined to not waste the training session he almost growled out for his future partner. "OI! DEKU!"

Seconds later the smaller freckled youth stood next to the two with a genuine look of happiness on his adorable face. "What's up Kacchan? Hey Kirishima! Do you guys need something?" Looking between the two his smile began to fade as he took in Red Riot's expression.

"Come here Nerd, I need something from you." The surprisingly soft voice coming from the usually boisterous male would have caught the other two off guard had they been anyone else. Without question the emerald-eyed teen jogged over to his boyfriend and leaned in as the other signaled him to move closer. "Ei can't concentrate because he's watching YOU training." The whispered concerns were barely audible but Izuku caught them and the unspoken request.

Knowing the hardening quirk user would be embarrassed to know his insecurities had again been exposed, Midoriya chose to implement a cover story. Hero's often needed to mislead villains to catch them off guard, right? So this counts as practice too! "You might be right, Kacchan. If Kirishima uses his unbreakable, the explosion could ricochet off and hit me at the angle I was at for sure. Especially since you're working on that new move with your AP shot. Thanks for the head's up! I'll move to the other side with Ida and work on maneuvering." Waving to the pair, Izuku moved to the other side of the training area so he would be behind the classes Shark Boy and out of his sight completely.

The lie was small and harmless. Except that it wasn't. The ''Wonder Duo'' may have intended to make the redhead more comfortable with their exchange but the show of tenderness and concern between them only stung him like a wasp. But, what was done was done and speaking up would only bring worry to his bro so Kiri swallowed his cracked heart. The rest of the training session went as well as could be expected and most of the members of class 2A felt it was time well spent.
