"That may be one of the sweetest things you've ever done for me. Thank you Kacchan." Smiling at the blush coloring his boyfriend's face, Izuku held back a giggle. Katsuki could be so damn cute when he was embarrassed!
"Whatever Nerd. Can we just move the fuck on with this dumb as shit game already?" Relaxing his suddenly tense position in favor of winding a muscled arm around a slip waist, the blonde pulled his Broccoli closer. Glowing in the knowledge of how caring his one time childhood friend had been in their youth the taller man rested his head on the explosive Hero's shoulder. Looking around at the rest of the group the pair were happy to find everyone's focus had moved onto Tsu whos's turn was next. As his fellow greenette assumed her signature thinking pose, forefinger firmly pressed against the corner of her mouth, All Might's successor discreetly drew his lover's attention to their laps. Concealed between folded powerful thighs, Midoriya signed a message to the blonde who received it easily.
'I w-i-l-l t-h-a-n-k y-o-u p-r-o-p-e-r-l-y l-a-t-e-r i-n t-h-e r-o-o-m'
Sticking with spelling to keep their conversation low-key, the crimson eyed man replied in kind.
'D-a-m-n s-t-r-a-i-g-h-t y-o-u w-i-l-l'
The soft slightly lispy voice of Froppy pulled the pair out of their moment as they refocused on the friends surrounding them. "Never have I ever kissed a girl *kero*."
Everyone except Deku and Tsu took a drink and the decimal level in the room doubled almost instantly after the focus in the room shifted to a VERY flushed looking Uravity. "You've kissed a girl Ochako!?!?"
Mina's apparent shock was shared by most of the rest of the group. "I thought you were Het?"
"I am? It was only once, and it was in our first year at UA. It was when we went home for a break and I ran into an old friend. She's Pan and said she'd had a crush on me since primary. We talked for a long time and I decided to try it to see if there was anything there I guess. I mean I had never felt that way towards a girl before, but there's a first time for everything. Right? In the end I didn't feel anything and she agreed to be just friends. We still have dinner together every once in a while and she's got a very nice girlfriend now. I'm happy for her! But you're Het too Mina, aren't you? Why is no one surprised about that?!?"
"Yep! We all know I'm a wild card sweetie. I'm afraid I don't have a great story like you though. It was a dare, I won." A huge smile covered the pink skinned woman's face as she laughed and shrugged.
"Wait a second, you didn't drink Midoriya. You gotta drink before Sero can do his turn." Kaminari might have been taking much larger drinks of his now mostly empty bottle than the others as he leaned on his husband.
"We only drink if we HAVE done the prompt right? Well, I've never kissed a girl. So I don't drink. Your turn Hanta." Izuku tried to skip over the topic and encourage Cellophane to start his turn but he should have known his friends and partner better than that.
"Wait wait wait wait, that can't be right. Can it? Didn't you two date for a while once?" Hitoshi looked confused between his friend and the again blushing brunette.
Looking down to fiddle with his fingers and avoid eye contact with his purple haired friend a pang of guilt crawled up Izuku's spine. He'd forgotten that the full story of his time as Ochocoo's boyfriend had never been divulged to the blonde next to him. A squeeze to his side brought the freckled twenty year old's focus up from the nervously intertwining digits in his lap. Looking up he again focused on the expectant red and purple gazes of the two present that were the most interested in his story.
After a deep sigh he turned to his ex for her okay before explaining. With a reassuring nod and small smile from the brunette, Midoriya addressed the group with confident but soft words. "Yeah Shin, we did. But Ura and I never kissed. We held hands, and we cuddled and we hugged a lot. But really it was no different from what we always did before we were together. Honestly it's no different from how we are now either. It wasn't like there was anything wrong with kissing her, I know she wanted to and I'm really sorry about that Ura." Looking over to see understanding chocolate collared irises the greenette suddenly panicked, he didn't want to offend the female who was the first to ever show him kindness at UA. "I'm sure you're a very good kisser and it would have been rather enjoyable-" Smiling at the anti-gravity quirk user had her beaming back as he continued. "-but I just never wanted to."
"I know Izu. You were still in love with Blasty, even then." Looks of understanding began making their way around the room after the chocolate-eyed woman's rather confident declaration.
"It was never fair of me to agree to date someone when I knew I didn't have those kinds of feelings for them but I was desperate to get over Kacchan. Not that it worked, obviously." Chuckling filled the air as the awkward tension broke and Sero cracked his knuckles before taking his turn.
The game made its way around the group with some more surprises as well as a few TMI moments, but everyone was enjoying themselves. Sero, and Tsu were the only two who had never kissed a boy. Mina and Shinso were the only two who had ever stolen anything. Mina, Sero, Kaminari, and Shinso had thought about doing something other than becoming Pro Heros when they were in middle school. Tsu, Kaminari and Mina had all fantasized about at least one Pro in the bedroom before meeting them in person. And it seemed everyone except Hitoshi had been jealous of their significant other's friends at least once.
After the first round the questions things became more and more personal and revealing in nature as the alcohol depleted. By the time the three that had not joined the game returned from their walk most of the players were at least tipsy with Sero, Mina, and Denki being down right plastered. Despite their earlier incognito promise to one another the 'Wonder Duo' would both fall asleep almost immediately by the time they made it back to their room. When they finally emerged the next morning the group trouple had already left.
The last full day passed much like the previous ones with good natured competitions for those whose headaches were not so bad as to stop them. Those who were a little worse for wear mostly hid in the shade and watched, but everyone enjoyed their precious free time. Goodbyes were a bit harder than anticipated for most but eventually it was time to head back to reality. Everyone was happy in their positions as new Pro's but they truly were a big family and seeing family that you love and worry about go is always hard.
By the time December rolled around it had been over four months since the beach and four months since Deku had been able to hold his Princess. Every time the two thought they would be able to have a day off together something would come up. Usually it was something more annoying than major and they made good use of video chats in the meantime but it just wasn't the same.
There had been more engagements amongst the other UA class couples in recent months which kept the group chat rather active. Kodai and Kaibara from Mr. Kan's last homeroom class were planning on a small family only ceremony and a larger friend party later on. Yaoyorozu and Todoroki had also become engaged but with Endeavor's attempts to make up for the past and Momo's family reputation they would not be able to make the affair small.
In fact, it had already been announced in every major news outlet across the country and the growing guest list for the ceremony, scheduled for more than a year from now, was already over one thousand.
Today, Bakugo was scheduled to be off along with Midoriya and so far neither had been called in to their agencies so it was looking like their long awaited reunion would finally be happening. Sadly it was not meant to be though. Only minutes before each was to board their respective trains both their phones went off almost at the exact same moment.
There had been a Villain encounter involving several agencies and former UA students. It wasn't unusual for such a notification to pass their screens. In fact, such a thing was typically not even noteworthy considering the nature of the job. However, this encounter did NOT end well. Deku was ordered by Specter to the hospital in the next prefecture to help Aizawa with Eri. He gave no details other than that and the lack of information was concerning to say the least.
