"Pick up the pace Puppy." Flurry was almost jogging as she led her pouting ward closer to their destination. Today she was working public relations alone with a predictably less than thrilled Dynamight. Deku was back at the office working with Spector, Might Tower's top analyst, on predicting crime patterns in the area. Not that he would ever admit to it, especially to the walking headache with him now, but the lack of his adorable partner was making the already feisty blonde even more on edge.

I don't see why the Nerd had to stay behind. I can help with analysis and he'll need to work PR too. Why couldn't we do both together? Wait - what the fuck am I thinking? It's fine to work separately. Gives me a chance to get better than Deku. I don't NEED to be with him all the damn time. I am NOT getting soft damn it! All thoughts of the elementary school they were headed to were pushed aside as the scowl on Bakugo's face grew deeper. Just because he didn't mumble like his freckled counterpart didn't mean he was immune to being somewhat lost in his own thoughts from time to time. AM I going fucking soft? No. No shitting way. Determination made, the explosive teen looked up from the sidewalk he had been glaring at. That was something of a miscalculation. Now he could see Flurry and grew even more irritated courtesy of Frostbite's taunting.

Huffing in annoyance, the blonde began to walk more aggressively to catch up to the bluette ahead of him. I see his ass all day at school, we're together with Elsa all day when we're here... usually... We train together and we end up staying in each other's rooms at least twice a week. So what if we'll be apart all day. It's no big. Get the fuck over it Katsuki!

"I'm coming dammit. You don't need to worry about ME." Realizing that he was in fact missing the freckled little ball of sunshine, the ruby eyed boy almost snarled at the tall Pro in front of him. For the love of fuck I'm so damn whipped.

"Buck up buttercup. We're going to be talking to a hall full of grade schoolers, remember? Being Mr. Murder Explosion God is not exactly the right vibe for this particular gig. Save the sour face for when you're NOT about to traumatize fifty third graders." Glancing back at her now audibly grumbling (minion) intern, the cobalt-eyed woman smirked. Why was teasing the short-tempered teen so much damn fun?

Dynamight is an excellent fighter by any objective measure. He adapts extremely well to unexpected situations. He's smart and works seamlessly with his much more personable partner. But his personality! Would he really be able to go Pro and not be ostracized by the public for his rough exterior?

"Let me guess, Deku's been running his damn mouth again hasn't he?" A smug smile was the only reply he received. No one outside of his class and teachers knew about his (embarrassing) awesome first attempt at picking his hero name last year. Even at that it was only the greenette who ever mentioned it, and that hadn't happened since they changed their private chat names.

The pair of trainer and trainee walked in silence the rest of the way, albeit quickly, towards the school and managed to arrive right on time. Wisely, once they stepped in front of the group of excited kids the Jr Hero let the Pro take the lead. He let the kids ask their stupid questions and did his best to answer with grunts and head nods if he couldn't pass the inquiry off to his supposed boss. They were only there for a little over an hour but by the time they left the ruby-eyed youth was mentally exhausted. Being around brats was always so draining!

Flashbacks to his license exam last year left a bad taste in his mouth. Bakugo was just not built for dealing with kids. Well, kids that weren't Ari. That little chick has great taste and seems to like emulating the feisty teen whenever Aizawa brings her to visit the class. How much her affection for him irked said Sleeping Beauty was thoroughly enjoyed and did not go unnoticed.

"I think I'd rather fight Nomus than do that again. Why are all brats like that?" Stretching his arms up above his head, Dynamight looked to his right and was instantly annoyed at the oversized smile staring back at him.

"Are you telling me that when you were that age you WEREN'T like that? Kids are kids, my little puppy. End of. Today was a good group. They were excited and interested and some of their questions were actually really good. It's important to remember that one day YOU will be a real Pro and it will be YOU who's training the next generation of Heros to one day take YOUR place." The usual sarcastic smile that graced the objectively good looking woman's face was replaced by genuine sadness for a moment but it was long enough to catch the blonde's eye.

Feeling an uncharacteristic need to reassure the abrasive snow quirk user, Katsuki opened his mouth to speak but something had him shutting it instantly making him appear not unlike a fish on land gasping for air. It wasn't a flattering look.

Annoyingly perceptive as always, his mentor seemed to instantly understand the problem. Keeping a smile on her face and the light atmosphere they had going moments ago, Flurry began to subtly survey their surroundings.

As the pair walked they shared a pointed look of silent agreement. They were being followed.

And not by a shy fan.

Whoever it was, was good. They appeared just like any other person on the street going about their business except they would stop and tie their shoe or turn to look at something in a store front any time either of the two tried to get a better look. Obviously this made it hard to see his face but his hair was almost the same shade of sapphire as Flurry's, making him easy to spot amongst the crowd.

"I think he was behind us on the way to the school as well." The soft whisper was concealed with a signature scowl making it seem like the boy was muttering to himself. A snort of amusement escaped the blonde at the idea that for once it would be himself muttering nonsensically and not his green-haired Bunny.

"If he follows us all the way to the agency, security should be able to record him and help us figure out who he is." A curt nod signaled the other's agreement as the tall female maintained her usual bouncy steps. Might Tower wasn't far away since they had already been walking for over twenty minutes so the two and their unwanted voyeur arrived inside of five minutes.

An hour later found the pair along with Deku and Sir Nighteye's protégé Specter analyzing the security footage of the blue-haired man trying to find his identity without any clear shots of his face. Why was he following Kacchan? Or was he following Flurry? Maybe both? Is he with the League of Villains? What does he want? He couldn't be just a regular guy, not with the way he was acting and going out of his way to avoid his face being seen. I wonder if -

"Snap out of it, Nerd. You're scaring the natives with your muttering again." The familiar sentiment was one of Bakugo's favorite ways to bring his passionate and easily focused partner out of his annoying habit.

"Sorry." Rubbing the back of his head shyly, Izuku looked to the two Pros next to him before turning to his boyfriend and offering a small embarrassed smile.

"We will continue to look into this man. It could be that he is an enthusiast of Flurry or yourself and was too timid to approach." The dark haired man spoke confidently which was a little reassuring to the 'Wonder Duo' for all of not-point-two seconds as both remembered the events that happened with the blonde a little over half a year ago.

"Or he's a villain who was doing reconnaissance to take one of them. Wouldn't be the first time Dynamight was kidnapped." The freckled teen's voice wasn't exactly shaky but it definitely lacked its usual strength. The thought of losing the other again was overwhelming for the greenette. It took every ounce of control he had not to tear up at the thought.

"We can not eliminate any possibilities at this time. We need more information first so I will keep your hypothesis in mind Deku. Thank you." After nodding to the concerned looking boy, the bespectacled Pro began making notes on his computer.

The fiery half of the future Pro team could feel his own demons stir at the mention of his kidnapping by the LOV. In many ways he did not come out of the encounter unscathed, but it was not himself he thought of now. He could sense more than see how much the current conversation and the events that sparked it were affecting his partner. In an effort to remove the pair from the situation and change topics, the taller student suggested the youths head back to UA to report the incident to President Nezu. Specter agreed and contacted Aperture to send the portal for the boys early.
