"Report. Have you found the opening we need to attack yet?"
"How the hell are we supposed to find something when you won't tell us the whole plan?"
"Yeh! All you fucking told us was to 'watch the damn brats'. What kind of fucking 'opening' are you even god damn talking about?"
"You are as vulgar as ever Scabbs."
"Fuck you."
"Igishi, what are we supposed to be looking for watching these brats?"
"We can't attack them if they are protected by the pros that work at the school. So they need to be away from the UA grounds."
"They don't go out much except when they go to that damn Might Tower, and then my disappointment of a sister is always with them."
"That's the power couple, what about the halfbreed?"
"Dearest daddy keeps him close. The only time the little asshole is not with his fucking father is when he's with one of the agency higher up's or that creation bitch and her family security. Seems daddy doesn't quite trust his precious legacy to protect himself."
"Or he's the number one hero now and knows that makes the little shit an automatic target. Endeavor may be a thorn in the side of all Villainy but he's smart. We can't rush in. We must be patient and wait for the perfect moment to get one of them. Ideally the blonde would be best but one of the other two would work. Those dumb fucks from the league were onto something targeting that one. He would be perfect but if one of the other two becomes exposed we can make that work. It just has to be one of the three. Any of the other wannabees won't get the results I want. Only UA's precious golden shits can make the plan work. Scabbs, continue to monitor the halfbreed. Look for ANY weaknesses we can use as leverage if we need to switch tactics to something more hands on. Squall, you keep on the other two. Stay out of sight of your Hero sibling and identify ANY weakness we can exploit."
"Yes boss."
"You're a cold bastard Igishi. But that's what I like about you."

"Mr. Aizawa, why are we at ground beta if we're not going to be training?" Kaminari's question was one many students wanted to ask.
"I was also wondering why we needed to get into our Hero gear *kero*"
"Yeah, and why is class 2B here too? If we're not training then we're not fighting each other. Why are we all here?" Mina tapped her chin in thought as she looked to an equally confused group of students to her right.
It had been a rowdy morning for the class and they knew their homeroom teacher was running low on patience but who could hold back their curiosity in a such an unknown situation? "Do you want us to explain or do you just want to keep asking questions?"
Eraserhead's signature bored voice snapped his students to attention with relative ease. He may not be using his quirk right now but the group of twenty aspiring Heros knew him well and it was coming. Having a quirk erased was definitely not a painful experience but it was in no way pleasant. It was a very unsettling feeling to have something that is so a part of you suddenly gone. The one time Ojiro had angered the forever-over-it man by letting Kaminari try to use his tail to launch thru the air was both unsettling and funny. The poor martial arts user kept falling over without his muscular appendage. The quick pick Mina snapped of his tail-less backside may or may not be well hidden on Hagakure's phone.
"You are all here to take your trainee promotional photos. These are the ones that will be posted at your current agencies and any agencies you work with in the future to let the citizens and Heros know who you are. You don't want anyone mistaking you for a Villian when you go out on patrol." Arms crossed, Vlad King's voice was stern as always but his own students being more used to the beast-like man remained unfazed. Denki may have stepped behind Jiro just a tad. Totally not hiding. Just making sure he wasn't blocking the girls' view of their teachers.
"We'll be starting with individual shots then partners for those training to work in pairs. Then we'll be taking class photos for the school before moving onto quirk displays. Some of you have quirks that are easy to identify without needing to do anything like Ojiro, but others need to be in action to show what they can do. Some of you won't be able to convey your power through images but we'll do the best we can to help you with that. We will be proceeding with both classes together, Kendo and Yayarozu will be given the order list. You can choose where you'd like to pose within ground beta so you all have an hour to think about how you'd like to do your individual and partner shots as well as how you will display your quirk. These kinds of photos will only need to be updated every five years unless you dramatically change your look before then so you will be stuck with these for quite some time." The raven haired Pro seemed to already be looking for his signature sleeping bag even before completing the task of explaining what his students would be doing.
"So take your time to think about it. You don't want to be represented by a bad image that could diminish your prospects of future work or make it harder for the public to recognize what you can do." Uncrossing his large arms, the white-haired teacher moved to speak with a few of his students who had less visible quirks to help them prepare.
This included the newly promoted Shinso who was now officially on the hero track in class 2B, much to Midoriya's delight. It would be a challenge for the purple haired teen to show his mind control ability in a photo but he was sure to find a way. Monama would also have a rather hard time displaying how his so-called strengths worked through the medium of photography. His promo shots would definitely be challenging to say the least. How sad.
The photographer wandered around the area giving tips to the students as they practiced different poses. The smiling pinkette made suggestions on how to stand or crouch and what kind of lighting would be flattering to their goals. As the different Hero trainees interacted with the smaller woman they found the bubbly pink haired specialist fun to be around. The petite professional had a quirk that allowed her to control up to ten simple machines at a time so five students were able to have their photos taken at a time allowing her to speed up the process. Having two different angles for each shot ensured an increased likelihood of a good image.
Most students went for a classically heroic pose with a smile: hands on hips and chest out or a fist on a bent arm out in front of the chest. There was, however, one notable exception.
You'll never guess who.
"Kacchan! You look way too aggressive like that, your Hero pose should tell everyone who looks at it that you will be there to help keep people safe. Not that you're going to murder them and their whole family while they sleep." The greenette had already completed his individual photos and was waiting to complete in partner poses with the blonde sporting his usual scowl and crossed arms.
"Midoriya is right bro, you look like someone just killed your puppy and stole your car." There may be safety in numbers under most circumstances, but Kaminari took no chances. Standing behind Jiro still seemed a safe place to be brave from. You never know what the reaction of the one and only Boom Boom Boi would be when met with criticism.
"And they were gifts from your wife that died from cancer." Kirishima lit up as he addressed his best friend, proud he caught his other buddy's reference so quickly.
"Should we change your name to Baba Yaga or John?" Of course Mina had to join in. The trio may not have custody of any of the Baku-Squad's collective brain cells but they could never miss a chance to allude to their favorite movie series.
"We should just call him Mr. Wick from now on." Et tu Earphones?
"SHUT IT YOU DAMN EXTRAS!!" Small explosions began to leave his palms as the fuse to the ruby-eyed teens temper burned down.
"FINE, you want me to smile and look like one of you simps? How's this?" It would be a true stretch of the definition to call the grotesque disfigurement of flesh that now adorned Dynamight's face a 'smile'. It would be far more accurate to call it a feral snarl. It sent a shiver up the spine of the poor photographer but only managed to earn a side-eye or eye roll from the members of class 2A that were close enough to witness it.
"Maybe it WOULD be better to just stick with what YOU are comfortable with. Not everyone looks happy in their promo-pics. Your teacher is a great example of that!" Bless her heart, she was trying so hard.
