Restart the TVA

I was rebooting the system with Casey to access the system again and to restart Miss Minutes as well so we had normal access to the system again. Loki and Mobius came back with a man, who resembled He who remains very much. I backed away from him as he entered the room and Loki noticed, he calmed me down immediately.

"He's here to help. To fix the loom.", he calmed me down and I nodded. "Loki.... I.... I have to tell you something.", I said and pulled him to the side. He looked at me confused. "When I was asleep earlier.... I... I dreamt again and time jumped.... I... He will only be able to help us unlock the security doors.... But nothing more... When we try to.... Place that prototype down the gateway.... He dies... We all will die.", I said and looked at him. He couldn't believe what he heard. "No... You're wrong.", he said not believing me and walked past me. "Loki.....", I whispered and watched him work urgently to unlock the doors and get He who remains out on the gateway.

As the doors opened and the He who remains variant Victor got read in his suit Loki grabbed my hand to calm me down. I knew what would happen. I knew that was it. We would die. The timelines would die. "It will work....", Loki said and stepped to the window with me, still holding me close. I stared down at Victor as the doors opened and he ran out on the gateway only to end up as human spaghetti, like I foretold Loki already. Loki gasped and then looked at me with wide eyes. I looked at the temporal loom, it was only seconds away from breaking and then it happened. The room was full of light while everyone asked what they did wrong. I held onto Loki with my arms and hugged him.

"I love you... Never forget that Loki.", I said and closed my eyes as I nuzzled my head into Loki's chest and he held me close.

I opened my eyes and woke up in my bed in my house. I sat up abruptly and looked around. No Loki. I rushed out of the bedroom and into Eddas room only to see her sleeping soundly. I gently picked her up and walked through the house with her in my arms. Thor was in the living room and played Fortnite again. "Thor?", I asked and he looked up with sad eyes. "Oh hey Y/N....", he sighed and stood up. "Thor? What's wrong?", I asked and looked around. There were still signs that Loki had been here and not just deleted and sent back into his old timeline. "Oh it's just... While you were gone a lot of things happened.... Jane died.... I killed someone named Gorr... I'm a father now.... And..", he said and I stopped him immediately. "You are a what now?!", I yelled accidentally waking Edda in my arms.

"I adopted Gorrs daughter.... Love.", he said and I stood there dumbfounded. "I am a aunt now?!", I said and sat down, letting Edda walk around and eat a banana. "Love and Edda get along pretty well...", Thor said and I sighed. "Wow... Where is she?", I asked and looked around, my eyes still scanning for Loki. "She's in school....", Thor said and noticed that I wasn't properly listening to what he was saying. "Sorry Thor... I have to go for a moment.... I will take Edda with me okay? I have to look for someone...", I said and licked Edda up and despite her protests she joined me on the quest to search for Loki.

After a whole day of searching, texting and calling him there was no hint where he would be. I put Edda to sleep and sat down in the living room. I rubbed my eyes and leaned back on the couch. Suddenly the surroundings around me blurred and my head began to hurt. As my vision was back to normal I was standing next to Mobius, B-15, OB, Casey, Sylvie and Loki in a warehouse.  All people except Loki were confused to see me and I myself was confused as well. "What the...", I said and looked around. No one if the TVA was wearing their uniforms but rather normal clothes.

"Y/n...", Loki smiled and hugged me. "Loki?", I gasped and hugged him. "What the hell happened? I was searching you with Edda all day long! Did... Did I time jump again? ", I asked and looked at him. "The TVA got destroyed... Only you and me remember... And I'm trying to get everyone back together... To save the TVA.", he explained. Sylvie arched her eyebrow up. "Time jumped? Wait... You can do that too?", she asked. "Well... I was able to do it in my sleep... And I guess my entire life because I had future telling dreams... But... I didn't fall asleep and ended up here.... I was just rubbing my eyes, my vision got blurry and I had a headache that felt like my head was going to burst.", I explained and Loki looked up. "That pain.... I know it. However I feel it in my entire body.... And you have seen what it looks like when I time slip Y/N.", Loki said and I looked at him. "Wait... Does that mean we.... Are both out of time? Does that even make sense?", I asked him and he shrugged.

I felt something off and looked around. Casey was gone. "Loki?", I said and pointed at the familiar Spaghetti flying around. "Oh no...", he said and we watched everyone else turn into spaghetti until only him, Sylvie and me were remaining.  I held onto Loki stumbling back as I had another vision. I fell to the ground and heard Loki yell.

I saw the gateway again, there was no temporal loom as if it was gone, only the gateway. I had Edda with me and held her hand and we walked down the gateway without suits. My eyes focused on a portal with green light behind it and before Edda and I could reach it I opened my eyes and was back on my couch in the living room breathing heavily.

I heard a bang from upstairs and ran up the stairs into my bedroom only to see Loki.
"Love?", I asked and he looked at me and immediately pulled me in a hug.
"I can control it now... The timeslipping... I can control it.", he smiled and kissed my cheek. I was totally confused. "How? How did you manage to do that?!", I asked him and held his hands.
"Because of you.", he said and I looked at him with a questioning look on my face and he seemed to notice. "I... I didn't want to lose you. Or Edda.... And you didn't disappear like the others but... You were just gone and so... I managed to time slip to a moment where I was with you and Edda.... And then... I time slipped into another moment when you had that anger outburst down in OBs lab. Where you told him about endless possibilities of the timelines and their branches.... ", he said and I sighed. "Yeah I remember that moment...", I sighed and looked at the clock. "I can rewrite history Y/N... I can change things... I can change how everything will turn out!", he said happily but he doesn't seem to get what I meant with endless possibilities.

"Loki... Even if we were to fix the temporal loom... There would just appear new time branches and thus the temporal loom will be overloaded again. There is no escape from the destruction of the TVA...", I sighed and now he seems to understand. "Let me try... Let me try it at keas. I have nothing to lose. I can try to change everything. I... I may even have fixed your timeline jumping or so to say your own time slipping...", he smirked and my eyes widened. "How would you....", I said and suddenly something came to my mind as if I had never remembered it. "You sneaky bastard.... You went back in time! You gave me that knowledge all those years ago! I remember!", I laughed happily and couldn't believe it. I remembered that Loki, back in Asgard has thought me how to use my future telling dreams to travel to different timelines.

Loki smirked and held his hand out to me.

"Let's try to save the TVA."
