"Hun, you're not going to hurt my feelings, that's why we're here" I say rubbing her back in an attempt to calm her down

"I know I will" she sobs

"Kas whatever you have to say, say it baby, don't worry about hurting my feelings okay? This is why we're here"

"Kassandra, do you know why you're so afraid of telling your mom how you feel?"

She looks at me crying and I nod at her, letting her know that it's okay, and that she won't hurt my felling

"Whe- when I was eight, my mom fell into a depression, it was so bad that my dad had to take complete custody of me, I'm scared to press a trigger if I share my feelings" she cries

I immediately take Kas into my arms as I see her sob and she buries herself into my neck exactly like when she was a baby

"Hun, it's okay, I'm not going back there, you can tell me how you feel, it won't hurt my feelings"

"Go upstairs and take a nap okay baby?" I tell her hugging her kissing her head and she nods, going upstairs

I go into the living room where I find trav on the couch, on his phone as he has the tv on for background noise

I walk up behind him and hug him, kissing his neck

"Hi babe" he says smiling

"Hi" I say not very enthusiastically and walk around the couch to sit next to him

"What's wrong babe?" He asks pulling me in closer to me

"Just emotionally exhausted from therapy, I kind of get why Kas acts like she acts sometimes, it's hard to get up and act normal after letting out all your emotions like that"

"I'm sorry, but this is good, it's a good step right?"

"It is, just exhausting, I got a little glimpse into how Kas feels and I feel so bad for not noticing anything wrong with her, the therapist asked to talk to me alone after our session and recommended she and I try to do at least one thing together every day until our next session"

"What are you guys doing today?"

"I don't know, she wasn't feeling very well, I'm going to let her rest for now, if I'm emotionally exhausted, I can't imagine how she's feeling" I say and take a glimpse at the book that Kas left on the coffee table "next time you buy my daughter a book, would you please pop it open and at least read the first page?" I chuckle

"What?"

"Apparently One of the books you picked out for Kas for Easter was full of sex scenes"

"No huh, I picked them out from the teen section at target"

"It must've been misplaced" I chuckled

"That's so embarrassing, I swear I didn't mean to" he says turning red

"Next time just at least read the first page big guy" I chuckle and get up to grab the book and I pop it open to the first page once I sit back down next to trav, to see what Kas was talking about "oh my god! Kas was not lying, this things like a kamasutra" I say shocked after reading the first page
