~{Chapter 96}~*This chapter is about when Nia gets "jealous💢" of Brainy and Lena spending too much time together and she💙begins to suspect that he💚is cheating on her with one of their closest best friends. Will this lead to a Brainia💚💙*break-up😱😭* or it is all a huge misunderstanding??? I hope you like it, Enjoy!*

*Nia's POV*
I've noticed that Brainy and Lena have been spending a lot of time together at the tower in the lab working on some important project requiring intensive research🔬and technological expertise, with their combined intellect and skills were essential. Lena's unparalleled brilliance in biochemistry & her magic✨🧪and Brainy's unmatched computational intellect made them an unstoppable team/duo. And
I'm his girlfriend💙but recently I've been feeling a hint of "jealous" for the amount of time that Brainy spends with Lena. Even if he says "It's just work," I don't know if that's *true or not, or maybe I'm overreacting a bit. I'm usually not the jealous type. But it is not something that I can control I'm afraid. So, I tried meditating to give me clarity on my fears just being in my head and not the reality of the *truth* if Brainy was cheating on me with Lena or not. In my dream, I saw Brainy and Lena at the tower laughing with each other in unison on one another's shoulders and said. "Wow, you really are a 12th-level-Intellect! You're brilliant. Brainy," Lena said . "And you're the smartest woman I know, Lena. I couldn't have done this without you!" Brainy said. Then, I gasped awake at what I foresaw in my dream vision in tears and seeing that made me realize something that Brainy really was cheating on me. I "always" knew that Brainy was way out of my league! You know with him being a 12th-level intelligent and all but I thought that our love❤️for each other💚💙 would be strong enough to last forever. For days, they worked side by side, every day often late at night, their heads and brains focused on the task at hand over the complex equations, blueprints, and data analysis. They communicate in half or full sentences, each of them understanding the other perfectly, slipping into a rhythm of sync with each other that feels natural and easy. Lena's emerald eyes lit up with passion and excitement when they finally made a breakthrough in their work, and Brainy's usual endurance with a genuine smile. They were well-oiled machines in "one" but the long hours and close proximity didn't go unnoticed by anyone/everyone, not even me. That being said when even I'm on a date❤️with Brainy (Querl Dox) or he decides to spend the night at my place he's "Always" checking his phone for any recent text messages or missed calls... like they are more important than I was to him. I know might be overreacting again but I can't help it! The signs and what I foresaw in my dream say it all and speak the "truth". Could he really be cheating on me with Lena?

*One Week later*
*In National🏙City, at the tower, in the lab*
*2:00 p.m.*
Nia walked out of the tower elevator feeling "brave" and took a deep breath prepared to talk to Brainy and ask him the question. Until she saw Brainy with Lena working on their latest project together in the *tower lab* putting their two heads together in doing their part for the team but to Nia seemed more than just teammates and friends working together. Like something "romantic" was there. She was frozen fearfully in shock at the sight of them together. As tears began to form in her eyes about to burst into tears💦of sadness😭but she put on a "brave" face holding in those tears... and decided to turn her sadness into anger instead. When that happened Nia wiped her tears away and immediately headed to the *training room* to fuel her rage😡💢by punching and kicking that "anger" out because if she even stopped for a minute or two she would stop to think about the person she trusted, loved the most and who made her feel safe and secure. The person she was referring to was "Brainy".

*Moments later, in the training combat room
*2:31 p.m.*
Nia began to destroy working out equipment and look for dream🌀energy blasts to channel her rage😡💢at the thought💭 that Brainy might be cheating on her. "Nia? What's going on with you so mad?" Kara asked walking into the "combat" *training room* to why Nia was taking things too far with her training. Nia sighed as she stopped her *intense training* and said to Kara to answer her question. "You really wanna know? Kara, okay, I'll tell you. Brainy is cheating on me with Lena!" Nia explained. "What? That's crazy, Nia! Brainy loves you with all of his heart💚and he isn't the kind of person who would cheat. Besides, you guys are the "perfect" couple❤️." Kara said crossing her arms refusing to believe that Brainy would be cheating on Nia cause of how much he loves her and stating the facts that Brainy and Nia are the perfect power couple/partners. Since their alien powers complement each other😉💙💚. "You think that now. Kara, but haven't you noticed that lately Brainy and Lena have been spending too much time together. They're here every day and night at the tower and they even get coffee together too!" Nia said out loud stating all the reasons why she believes that Brainy is a *cheater* and that their love for one another was dying and Lena is replacing her. "Uh, yeah! Because they are working on an important project together for upgrading the tower's security system in case bad guys are out to get us or I find our secret base and attack us? Besides, Lena and Brainy are the only ones who can do it. So, stop this insanely jealous overthinking of yours Nia! And just talk to him if you're doubting his feelings for you... I'm sure he'll be honest with you if you ask him." Kara explained to her friend the reason for Brainy spending so much time with Lena and nothing romantic❤️. "You know what? Kara, I will! I'll ask him right now," Nia said determined with passion to go and talk to her boyfriend now and wanted some answers to why Brainy was spending so much time with Lena if it was just work or something else.
"Wait, what? Now!"Kara questioned loudly in shock chasing after Nia in the halls if she was actually serious about asking Brainy right this second. Cause she meant later. Not now! Moments later, Nia made her way to the *Tower Lab* to confront Brainy if he was really cheating on her with Lena as Kara followed behind her friend hoping that she wouldn't do anything that she might regret later on😅. Basically, she was there for Nia to support her! Like any bestie would do. "Are you kidding me right now?! Brainiac-5! Working again?" Nia said to them in a jealous rage crossing her arms while glaring at Brainy in disappointment that he was cheating on her with Lena. "What? Nia, no. It's not what you think! Let me explain. Me and Lena were just working on our project together for the tower's security system. Nothing "romantic". I swear, Nia Nal!" Brainy said quickly getting up out of his seat and trying to make Nia Nal, his girlfriend💙see that he would never do anything to cause her any pain physical or emotional. But she didn't believe him thinking that Brainy wasn't being honest with her about his true intentions and feelings. "No. I don't want to hear your excuses! Brainy, I want the "truth" but I don't think you're gonna. So, I'm done talking," Nia said dramatically walking away from and turning her back on him to make a point to express her anger, jealousy and frustration of betrayal. "Wait, Nia! Come back! Please, just hear me out! I-I... love you," Brainy called out to her in tears. *** but sadly, she didn't hear him. Lena sighed. "You have to tell Nia the "truth" Brainy, about why you and I have been spending time with each other. Otherwise, you'll lose her forever. So, make this right and talk to Nia before it is too late." Lena suggested wisely. "I think you're right. Lena, I'll go to Nia's place and explain everything to her." Brainy said as he immediately rushed out of the tower at superspeed.

*Meanwhile with Nia at her apartment*
*4:41 p.m.*
She was meditating trying to clear her mind in not thinking about "you know who". "Okay, just relax. Nia, clear your mind of all distractions. Just focus on your powers and nothing else." Nia thought calmly to herself trying to concentrate all her energy on
*Knock-knock* A knock on her door🚪by a certain Coluan wanting to make up with his girlfriend to explain things in setting them right. Nia sighed trying to ignore whoever was at the door and focus on her powers without any distractions clouding her judgment. But the knock got louder repeatedly going on and on over again! Which led to Nia losing her focus and anger and speaking out loudly in annoyance. "Whoever's there. Take a hint and leave me alone. GO AWAY!!!" She said to the person who was at the door, trying to meditate, focusing all my energy on her dreaming🌀powers. "Nia Nal, it's me. Brainy! Please, let me in so, that I can explain myself." Brainy said begging Nia to open the door and let him in to explain everything. But she refused to listen to his reasons, thinking they're only with *lies* and said because of it. "No. I don't want to talk to you! Just go away. Besides, my dream showed me everything that I needed to see. So, there's no point in talking about it anyway." Nia said through the door inside her apartment living room refusing to to see, or talk to Brainy while stating the facts that is obviously cheating on her with Lena. "We both know that's not true 'cause you're the only woman for me."
Brainy said through the door asking Nia Nal to let him in to explain himself for what Because he obviously had a good reason. "Even if I'm not as smart as you like she is," Nia replied sadly. "That's not true! You are Smart Nia Nal, and I love❤️you," Brainy said. Nia gasped opening her eyes and smiled when She knew that he truly meant what he said. Nia sighed getting up off the couch as she walked closer to the door🚪and gently placed her hand on the doorknob and slowly opened the door. Brainy stepped back through the door to see Nia's face and he said to her because of it at the sight of her. "So, does this mean that you're finally ready to hear me out?" Brainy asked in a deep soft voice for dramatic effect. "Yes, I'm ready to hear your side of the story. Brainy, I'm sorry for walking out of the tower without listening to you but I'm ready now." Nia said in a soft understanding voice ready to listen to her boyfriend's reasons for spending so much with Lena than his own Girlfriend💙. Brainy nodded in agreement glad to hear that. "I admit that I may have overreacted a little. Okay, a lot actually!
Nia added with a sad look in her eyes. "Whatever your reasons are for working with Lena... I'll respect it," she said. "I appreciate your honesty. Nia Nal, but know this what Lena and I have is just friendship and purely professional when it comes to work. We're working together because it is necessary for the mission, but that's it! You're the one that I love and no one else," Brainy finally explained. "I know that, Brainy. But it's hard not to feel a little jealous. You and Lena have so much in common. You're both smart, intelligent and so connected. And I know that we're all friends and we are all like a family to each other. The "Superfamily" I mean." Nia said. Brainy's heart ached at the sight of Nia's vulnerability, causing her emotional pain. "Nia, listen to me. You are the most important person to me in my life! My heart💚belongs to you." Brainy said romantically meaning every word. Nia looked into his eyes, searching for any doubt or being untruthful to her but that resulted in a big *negative* seeing only love/passion❤️& devotion. She sighed happily in relief with a bright smile on her face glad to know that Brainy truly meant every word of what he said. And with that she believed him! "I love you too, Brainy. But I'm sorry for feeling this way," Nia apologized. Brainy leaned in kissing Nia Nal on the lips right away as she kissed him passionately pulling him deeper into the "Kiss". He💚broke the kiss shortly to say. "That's how I feel about you, Nia. And you don't need to apologize to me I understand your feelings of jealousy." Brainy said sweetly to her. Nia smiled. "Which is why I'm gonna text Lena and let her know that I'm spending the day with you instead of working. Because I love you with all of my heart and I wanna make it up to my girlfriend." Brainy said devotedly to his romantic relationship with Nia💙Nal being *100%* serious.

Then, he immediately kissed her again on the couch but this time with more passion and desire. "Oh, wow. Brainy, maybe I should get jealous more often if it means that you'll spend more time with me and pay attention to me too," Nia said feeling turned on right now as she took off her hoodie and other clothes. Brainy did the same thing showing off his green skin. Then, that's when things got really "heated" and hot🥵that night! If you know what I mean😏😉.
