Out Like That

Chapter Sixteen

(3 Months later)
Danielle's P.O.V.
Well I've been living with Luke for 5 months now, and I love it. Everyday we see each other, even though he is busy in the studio. He still makes time for me. Which he is right now. I'm getting dressed for our date. We're going out to lunch, before we have a meeting with his label about his new tour. I'm wearing a flowy black shirt, with white jeans, and some black heels, which is different for me, since I usually wear flats. I hear the front door close, Luke calls out "Hey, darlin, are you ready for lunch?" I yell back "Almost, give me a minute" I put on some mascara, and a spray of perfume, then I check to make sure that all of my hair is straight, and I exit the bathroom. I go the down stairs, and Luke is standing there, in a black polo, with khakis and black boots on. He looks at me and says "you look beautiful" I smile, and lean up to give him a kiss." then he says to me "You've grown, or I've shrunk" I laugh at that and say "babe, it's called heels" he says "since when do you wear heels?" I laugh and say "I wear them sometimes, but let's head out to lunch, we don't want to be late for our meeting." I grab my white blazer, and slide that on, and grab my clutch that matches my shoes.I turn around, and Luke is standing there with a black dress coat on. He grabs my hand, and follows me out the door. We're taking my car to lunch, for a change. Luke opens my door for me, and I climb into the drivers seat, and wait for him to get in. I start the car, and Luke turns on the radio, and reaches for my right hand, and kisses it. It feels weird for me to be driving, I actually kind of miss driving. Once Luke and I get to the Olive Garden, he runs around to my side, opens my door, and grabs my hand. We have some lunch, then head to our meeting.

Luke's P.O.V.
We get to the meeting, and Kerri is here already. She gives both Danielle and I a hug. We sit there in silence for a few minutes, and are called into the president of the labels office. Danielle sits to my right, and Kerri is on my left. Steve, the president of my label says to me, "I see that you have hired Ms.Keays as your tour manager again" I nod my head and say "yes,sir" he says "I have been told that you have hired her as your permanent tour manager, is that so?" I nod my head yes. He says "the two of you are able to work together, even though, you're dating, and have been for quite some time now" Danielle and I both say that it doesn't affect our business relationship, if anything, it makes it easier. Then I say to him "It actually makes it easier, to have her here, because she knows how to take care of set up, and how I like things to be done" he nods his head and says "Well, that's fine with me. I just wanted to make sure that what I heard was valid information, and that if this next tour is anything like the last one, then I don't have a problem with Danielle having a permanent position on your team" Danielle, Kerri and I all thank him for his time, and all get up and leave together.
