Chapter Fifty- four

Danielle's P.O.V.
I went to the store, to get some things for dinner. I come home, to find a bouquet of roses, in a vase on the island, I set down Wyatt, and Tate, since Isaiah and Bo can walk, I don't have to worry about trying to carry four kids at once. Then I put down my bag of groceries. I read the card on the roses, it say "I miss you guys so much!! See you soon, Love Luke" I smile to myself. I turn around to take things out of the bag, and I feel two arms snake around my waist. I jump, and that's when I hear a chuckle that I would know anywhere.I snap right around, to see a laughing Luke. I wrap him up in a hug, and smash my lips on to his. Once we pull apart, I say to him "what are you doing home?" He keeps his hands on my hips, and says "Well, I missed my boys, and their beautiful momma" I smirk, and kiss him again. Then I turn back around, to make the pork roast. I feel his hands leave my sides, and then I hear the kitchen door open and shut. I go peek out the door, to see Luke crouched down, and both Bo and Isaiah hugging him I snap a picture with my phone. Once he goes to stand up, Isaiah says "No stay dada" I smile , and Luke crouches back down and says "buddy, I'm home for a little while, I was just going to go see your brothers" Luke stands up and both Isaiah and Bo latch onto his legs. I laugh as he tries to walk. He turns around and says "I think that they missed me" I say "Maybe just a little" Then he picks up Tate. I see Tate smile at him, and Luke turns to me and says "they're getting so big" I sigh and say "I know, it's hard to believe that they're 8 months old already" He shakes his head and says "it's hard to belive that Bo and Isaiah are going to be 2, in just three months, as well as these guys turning 1 in 4 months" I smile and say I know. Bo and Isaiah climb up on the couch, and I pick Wyatt up and hold him. Luke and I sit there talking, and playing with our boys. Everything feels great. My husband is home, and I'm getting to spend time with all of my boys. I look to my right, as the front door swings open and shut. Well, Kandice is here. She walks in, and she looks confused at first when she sees Luke. She says "Well, don't you guys look like one big happy family." I laugh, and she says "Let me get a picture of all of you guys together" She takes out her phone, and takes a picture of all of us together, she sends it to my phone, then I send it to Luke, and we both make it our background, and lock screen. Kandice and I go to the kitchen, to make dinner leaving Luke alone with the boys.

Luke's P.O.V.
I love being home. I miss my family a lot. Danielle was surprised to see me, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to keep this a secret or not, but I did.She wasn't the only one surprised to see me, Kandice was too. I see the kitchen door open, and Danielle sticks her head out the door, and says "I hope you don't mind, that I invited Ryan, Hannah,Aspen, Michael,and Sarah all over for dinner, and Kandice is staying for dinner too, and her boyfriend Connor is coming over as well" I smile at her and say "Well, that sounds perfect, I get to see everyone before I go back on tour." She smiles and says "I fogot to ask how long you're home for" I say "A week" She nods and says "We will have my parents and your parents over for dinner before you go back on tour" I say "Sounds good to me" She smiles, and goes back into the kitchen. I hear a car door, then I see the front door open, and Ryan, Hannah, and Aspen all come in. Hannah is surprised to see me, but of course Ryan isn't since he drove me here. I get up, and give Hannah a hug, then I shake Ryan's hand, then I look down, to see little Aspen, she has gotten so big. Ryan and I take a seat in the living room, while the girls go out into the kitchen. A minute later Danielle sticks her head out the door and says "Dinner is almost ready, will you help me get the boys ready?" I stand up, and take Wyatt and Tate into the dining room, place them in their high chairs, while Danielle does the same with Bo and Isaiah.I go into the kitchen, to help bring the food into the dining room, and I see Michael and Sarah are here now. I hug Sarah, and shake Michaels hand, then help bring food in. Connor has also arrived, and him and I shook hands, and got to know each other a little.  We all take our seats in the dining room, and say grace then eat. Michael asks me when I got home, and I tell him today, and everyone is asking questions about tour, and I keep my answers short. Then we get into talking about the kids and how quick they're growing up. Then we all start discussing Michaels wedding. I still have yet to tell Danielle that I can't make it. I am going to do that tonight. Once dinner is over, and everyone leaves, I help Danielle clean up the table, then I take all of the boys to get their baths.I get them all into their pajamas and put them in their beds. Then I go back downstairs, and help Danielle finish cleaning up. Once that's done, we head upstairs and go in the hot tub. We've been sitting in here for a while just relaxing, which is something that I assume she doesn't do a lot of, when she says "I gotta go take a shower, then go do some schoolwork" I say "No, please stay, I miss you" She smiles at me and says "Well, I guess I can double up tomorrow" I smile and say "that didn't take much convincing" She laughs and says "I know, I stayed because I miss you too" I smile at her and say "On to a more serious note, I need to tell you something" Her eyes fill with curiosity, and worry. I sigh and say "I have a show the night of Michael's wedding, so I can't make it, I'm really sorry" she nods her head and says "I know you're busy, and don't want to cancel and dissapoint fans" I nod, and pull her in to me, and kiss her forehead. We sit like this for a while, then go take a shower together, then head to bed.
