I feel like every single comment is about how he hasn't rescued Tris yet and on how long this story is getting dragged out and everything along those lines.

No, not every comment out there is like this, but there's only a handful of people from every chapter that actually aren't like:

"Oh my gosh why hasn't he saved her yet like this could've happened so long ago this story is getting so dragged out but update soon."

I'm sorry but what? 😶

If you think it's too dragged out or if it's getting old or you don't like how I have my story going then I'd respectfully ask you to either stop reading or, well, maybe just read over your comments before you post them.

✨✨✨Guys I don't mean this as hate, I really love you all. This has just been happening for a long time now and I'm starting to get a little upset by it.✨✨✨✨

Just hear me out, please.

Tobias is working on it, but it's not that easy for him. It's not like he can just drop everything and go storm into that building alone, without a team, unprepared, and so on.

Think back to the chapters before chap 50.....

About half of Chicago didn't even want to go near that building.

Tobias had to convince them, and he did in chapter 49 entitled "The Truth" after this fanfiction.

Then after that things laid low. There was talk between the main leaders of the factions and Tobias had to go on living life anxiously waiting for their next step.

Decisions take time in life, especially governmental decisions at times, and this was one of those long ones, ranging for a good 10-15 chapters or so.

Let me make clear to you the one important thing in this part that I think some of you may have missed or forgotten;

Tobias isn't the leader of dauntless or any of the factions; Josh is the leader of dauntless and the other new faction leaders are the leaders of their factions.

Tobias can't make the calls. He doesn't have that power; Josh and the other faction leaders do.

Yes, he is close with Josh and yes him and Josh agree on almost everything, but Tobias can't just go and make the calls; he has to bring that to Josh and if Josh agrees then he brings it to the other factions and then they have to agree.

That takes time.

I didn't want this to be one of those books where it's like 😳

*8 month time lapse*

Today is the three month anniversary of when I rescued Tris and we have been living happily ever after and she is perfectly okay physically and mentally.😄

That's just not my style, okay? 😌

We all are taking this journey with Tobias and with Tris, not faster, not slower.

It's bad enough of how I did a huge year time lapse to start this from it being one year after the 2 year epilogue at the end of Allegiant. 😁😁

🔆🔆I also have to drag this out because this is the foundation for the sequel that I do already have plans for. Certain things that are happening here are really forming the plot to the next book. Sorry if it's too long for you, but it has to be done with my plans so either suffer, or don't.🔆🔆

Don't hate or stop commenting or reading because of this because that's not what my point is. Just, please take the time to review and kind of think back to the reasons all of the things you don't like may be happening. I promise there's a reason for all of it although it may just seem like fillers now, it will be the whole main idea for the sequel. 😘

I'm not one to really speak out my opinion much so this is kind of a whole new step for me so please don't shoot me down. 😁I don't usually do this, like ever, and I definitely don't plan on it being a normal thing. ☺️
