I smiled at Judith, seeing Lori in her features.

"She's starting to look just like Lori." I mumbled.

Rick walked up beside me, his hand pressing against my back.

"Please don't leave. You can hate me all you want, but please don't leave." He mumbled.

"I won't." I whispered.

"I'm sorry for everything I said earlier." He mumbled.

"I understand why you think Ron would try and hurt us. I get it." He added.

"Why'd you say it?" I asked.

"I was mad. I don't think when I'm mad." He answered.

"Maybe this relationship thing isn't for us." I stated.

"What? Yes it is. Every couple has arguments." He replied.

I looked back down at Judith who had fallen asleep, before walking out of the room.

"Hey," Rick mumbled, his hand wrapping around my wrist.

"What?" I asked, turning around.

"I let you walk away too much. I let you run away from your problems, and that all ends now. You aren't leaving mad." He replied.

"I don't run away from my problems." I replied.

He raised an eyebrow and tried to hide his smirk as I realized he was right.

"Shut up, Grimes." I replied, pulling my wrist from his grip and ran down the stairs.

"I wasn't talking, babe." He replied, following me.

My heart raced at his reply, and I opened the door.

He pulled me back in and spun me around before shutting the door.

My back hit the door as he cornered me against it.

"You aren't leaving." He stated, his voice low.

"Who says?" I asked.

"You should know that answer." He replied, his nose brushing against mine.

"Let me go." I ordered, trying to push him back with my hands.

"I will if you stay." He mumbled.

"We need a break." I whispered.

"So you're just gonna give up because of our argument?" He asked.

"It's not giving up. It's allowing me to think of what I need to do." I replied.

"Maybe you don't love me after all. If you loved me you wouldn't want a break, we'd work through 'the argument' together." He replied, backing up from me.

"Rick, I love you. I just need to think." I replied.

"I think you've already made your decision." He mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper.

"What? So now you're going to be pissed at me?" I replied.

He walked upstairs, leaving me alone downstairs.

I sighed, throwing myself onto the couch.

-

"Hey, Sam. We need to talk." Jessie stated, walking up to me.
