"Gosh, Sam. I'm so sorry." Tara sighed, hugging me.

"It just feels like I knew him forever, I might not have known him for not even a month, but we clicked." I replied.

"I know." She mumbled, rubbing my back.

"I feel so bad because I just left, but there was no way I could get in there to him." I replied.

"Maybe he didn't die, maybe he's alive." She replied.

"Maybe." I mumbled.

"Do you wanna play UNO?" She asked.

"No. I never wanna play that stupid game ever again." I replied.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Rick asked as I walked downstairs.

I shrugged my shoulders, sitting down on the couch across from him.

"Is Judith feeling better?" I asked.

"A lot better." He answered.

I lied down on the couch, covering my eyes with my hand.

"Hey!" Carol exclaimed as I walked over to her house.

"Hi." I replied, looking over to Tara who looked half asleep.

"How are you feeling?" Carol asked.

"I'm better." I replied, putting my hands in my hoodie pocket.

I jumped, Tara jumping up from her chair before grabbing my arms.

"You're bleeding!" She exclaimed.

"What?" I asked.

I looked to Carol who walked inside, and I was all sorts of confused.

"Where?" I asked, feeling for blood on my face.

"I'm just kidding." She replied.

"What the hell? Why are you acting weird?" I inquired.

"Why are you acting weird?" She asked.

"I'm not acting weird, you're acting weird." I replied.

Suddenly arms wrapped around me from behind and someone kissed my cheek.

I turned around, my heart stopping when my eyes met Adam's.

Tears immediately hit my eyes as I did a triple take to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

I threw myself at him and wrapped my arms around him.

"I told you to wait for me." He replied.

"I heard you scream, and there were so many walkers. I thought you died," I replied, tears threatening to spill.

"Yeah, because I'm going to die right after I finally get you." He replied.

"Oh my god, this is so cute." Tara stated.
