"You think you can handle the kids?" Maggie asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Remember, put him down for sleep at eight." Maggie repeated for the eighth time.

"She heard you the first time." Glenn replied, getting in the car.

"Be careful." I muttered, Rick throwing his bag in the trunk.

"You got your walkie?" He asked.

I nodded, watching Maggie, Carl, and Glenn get in the car.

"If you're not back by tonight, I'm coming to look for you." I replied.

He nodded before getting in the car.

I watched him drive off before I walked back into Alexandria.

They're just going on an ammo run, but I still worry.

-

"Sam, you there?"

I jumped up from the couch and quickly grabbed the walkie talkie from the coffee table.

"Yeah." I replied, relief flooding over me once I heard Rick's voice.

"Maggie and Glenn are on their way back." He replied.

"What? Why aren't you coming back with them?" I asked.

"We got split up. I'm fine- I just need you to come get me." He replied.

"Are they okay? Why can't you guys meet back up?" I inquired, completely confused.

"Don't freak out, but something happened. She got bit," He replied.

"Oh my god." I gasped, freaking out.

"I'm at the pawn shop that's on the backroad of the valley. Try to hurry," He replied.

"I'm on my way." I replied, grabbing the keys from the chest by the door.

"Tara!" I yelled.

"What?" She asked.

"Watch the kids. Maggie's bit and she's on her way back with Glenn. Rick and Carl aren't with them." I explained.

"Oh my gosh." She replied.

"I'll be right back. Rick told me where he is." I replied.

"Get Denise and get everything ready for Maggie." I ordered, running to the gates.

"Michonne, I need you to come with me." I stated, finding her outside talking to Abraham.

Once I explained everything to her, we got in the truck, and sped down the highway.

If anything would make me freak out it would be Rick screaming and yelling my name.

I grabbed the walkie talkie from my lap, my head swimming.

"Rick! What's going on?" I asked, holding down the walkie talkie.

"Help," Carl added, causing my heart to beat even faster.

"I'm almost there." I replied, flooring the gas pedal.

"Holy shit." I breathed out,  stopping the car a few yards away from the pawn shop.
