Chapter 63: Take Your Pants Off!

Nicole: Whoa Joey!

[Nicole's POV]

Amazing situation to be stuck in the middle of!

Joey: What? Is it a bad idea?

Nicole: Noooo!

Joey: Then I should ask him to marry me!?

Nicole: Joey...

Joey: You think it's too soon?

Yes! Thank you Joey for the excuse.

Nicole: Yes! Yes I think it's too soon!

Joey: So...how long do you think I should wait?

Nicole: Give about....a month...tops.

Joey: You're specific! Why a month?

Nicole: Just see how things go by then.

[Joey's POV]

I don't know whether or not to listen to Nicole and wait...or just go for it...

[Nicole's POV]

I can't tell Shane that Joey wants to ask him to marry him, then that'll screw up Shane's proposal! Why do they have to be so confusing!

Nicole: We should go ring shopping tomorrow!

Shane: Why tomorrow?

Nicole: Because you have to order it!

Shane: Ah fuck yeah, why didn't I remember that?

Nicole: REMEMBER?

Shane: Joey never told you?

Nicole: Were you going to propose to someone else?

Shane: Yeah, like a day before me and Joey started...being together...

Nicole: Lisa?!

Shane: A huh...but right as I was going to propose to Lisa I realised I was in love with Joey!

Nicole: Aww! I love how you can turn anything around and come out as an awesome boyfriend to Joey!

Shane: Aren't you meant to be driving?

Nicole: Red light...

[Shane's POV]

I changed into the only dress shirt I had brought to Boston with me. I fixed my hair and waited for Joey and Nicole to come home patiently...by going on twitter again.

Joey: We're back!

I ran out to see Joey standing at the door looking at me.

I shrugged my shoulders and looked back at him.

He smiled and shook his head, looking down at his feet.

Shane: What?

He slowly looked up at me, puppy-eyed. Then he wandered over to me, grabbing the back of my neck with both of his hands before saying,

Joey: You look great...

Shane: Thank you...

Then he whispered so no one could hear.

Joey: And by great...I mean sexy...

Annnnd now he was kissing me.

[Joey's POV]

Shane: Do you know anywhere we can actually go for dinner?

Joey: Nooo...ummm, Nicole?

Nicole gave us the street address to a restaurant she thought was nice. Shane and I both went back into the guest room we were staying in. I got changed into nicer clothes since all I had been wearing was a striped t-shirt, a pair of skinny jeans and sperrys!
