"Hello Minx! How are you and Joe doing?" Adelaide greeted over the phone.
"Hello! We're good," I smiled, "How're you and Bill?"
"Great, thanks! Anyway, Bill and I are going out with a few other couples tonight for dinner and wanted to know if you and Joe would like to tag along?" She offered, "It would be a lot more casual than the other night."
"Wow, that's kind of you to think of us," I gushed happily, "Let me talk to Joe and I'll text you back, but I'm sure we would love to come along."
"Alright! Hopefully see you later. I'll text you the rest of the details," Adelaide smiled.
"Okay!" I smiled, before hanging up the phone.
"Was that Adelaide?" Joe asked as he carried Noah on his hip.
"Yeah, she and Bill asked if we wanted to go out for dinner with them and a few other couples again this evening?"
"Sure, I can call Sydney to babysit again," Joe shrugged.
"Okay, even though she has a crush on you," I giggled.
"No, she's just polite," Joe laughed.
"Joe, she blushes every time you talk to her!" I laughed, "It's cute!"
"Whatever," He laughed.
"Yeah, yeah," I shook my head.
I texted Adelaide to let her know that we'd love to go tonight:
"Joe and I would love to come along tonight! See you later!"
"Great! I'm excited to introduce you to our friends!" Adelaide replied, before sending me the details for the restaurant we'll be meeting at.
"Mummy! Play!" Noelle smiled, pulling my attention away from my phone.
"Hi Sydney! It's Joe. I was wondering if you were able to babysit Noelle and Noah again tonight?" I heard Joe on the phone.
"Great, seven o'clock works perfectly. See you then, thank you. Bye, love," He nodded before hanging up.
"Mummy! Daddy! Play!" Noelle squealed.
"I'm here baby," I laughed lightly, as Noah crawled onto my lap.
"Daddy!"
"Here I am," Joe laughed, joining us to sit on the ground with Noelle's toys.
Noelle started assigning us what toys we get to play with.
"Oh, thanks!" Joe laughed sarcastically as Noelle handed him a toy that was a bit broken.

"You're nineteen?" I gawked, "I thought you were about seventeen."
"Yeah, that happens a lot," Sydney giggled.
"Come on Minxie," Joe smiled.
"Alright, thank you again," I thanked Sydney as Joe and I got ready to leave.
"No problem," She smiled sweetly.
"Daddy!" Noelle cried, as she realised we were leaving.
"Shh, baby. Sydney will take good care of you. Mummy and I won't be too long, I promise," Joe smiled, picking up Noelle and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"No!"
"Shh, it's okay 'Elle," I hummed, pushing her hair out of her face.
Joe handed her to Sydney.
