The kids will not stop talking about the baby. Making plans already on what they would do with him or her. We waited another month before telling anyone else, just to make sure there weren't any complications arising. It's hard to keep the children from telling anyone, like my mum and James. However, Noelle accidentally let it slide around Sydney, so she knows, but she's also promised to keep it a secret.
The symptoms are just starting to hit me as I've been waking up with morning sickness and it has carried on throughout the day, and also my boobs have been super sensitive.
"Good morning, baby," Joe hummed as I woke up.
"Morning," I yawned.
Feeling my stomach lurch, I instantly knew I had to throw up. I jumped out of bed and hurled towards the toilet. Joe tiredly followed behind, holding my hair back for me.
"It's okay Minxie," He soothed.
I gargled some water before brushing my teeth and then gargling mouthwash and following Joe back into bed for a bit.
"Sorry," I hummed.
"Don't apologise, you're creating a baby," Joe smiled, rubbing my stomach.
I nodded and smiled. We talked quietly together for a few minutes before the kids came running in and sat on the bed with us.
"Mummy!" Noelle smiled, leaning on me to give me a small kiss.
"Ow, be careful baby," I hummed, as she hit my chest by accident.
"I'm sorry!" She quickly apologised.
"You're okay," I smiled.
Noah wiggled his way in the sheets between Joe and I and cuddled up with me.
"He's such a Mummy's boy," Joe smiled.
"Hey, not all of the time," I smiled, "And anyways, he's my little baby."
"What about me?" Noelle giggled.
"Of course, you're my big girl. You're so beautiful," I smiled, pulling her in for a cuddle too.
"How's the baby?" She asked.
"I think he or she is doing perfectly well," I nodded.
"Why don't you have a big belly?" Noah asked.
"Because the baby hasn't grown a lot yet. It's still really small and when he or she grows bigger, so will my stomach," I explained.
Joe smiled, giving me a small kiss as he leaned over Noah.
"Ew!" Noah giggled.
"Oi, give over," Joe laughed, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Come on, we'd better get up," I said.
"Yeah, come on," Joe nodded.
"Isn't Aunty Zoe and Uncle Alfie coming today?" Noelle asked.
"Yeah, your Mum and I will be picking them up in about an hour," Joe smiled.
"What about us?" Noelle giggled.
"Sydney will be coming to watch you two for a bit. Not too long," I smiled.
"Okay," Noelle nodded happily.
I made everyone breakfast and then Joe and I went to get ready.
"I need to get in the shower," I said, heading into the bathroom.
"Okay," Joe nodded, giving me a small kiss on the cheek.
I got in the shower, washing my hair and cleaning myself before getting out and drying off. I blow dried my hair and then left the bathroom and got dressed.
