"No! Stop!" I cried.

"Shh, Minxie. You're safe and I'm here," Joe comforted me as I awoke from another bad dream about Rory.

I didn't know what to say. I don't know how many times I've apologised for waking Joe up in the middle of the night with my loud cries of terror. This is the fourth night in a row that I've have a bad dream including Rory. The other night was a dream when he took the kids, but tonight was just as worse. In tonight's dream, Joe was there, but he wasn't stopping him, or even trying to.

Ever since the day we left for the weekend away, I haven't recieved any sketchy text messages, I'm just scared from my own thoughts and that has now translated into my dreams at night, waking both myself and Joe up, resulting in us being tired throughout the day.

"I'm sorry," I shook my head, getting up to get a drink of water.

"Don't apologise," Joe yawned, turning over in bed and dozing back to sleep while I padded into the kitchen.

Before returning to bed, I quickly and quietly checked on the kids' asleep in their cots.

I washed my face and tried to clear my thoughts before returning back to bed and trying to go back to sleep.

"Come here," Joe mumbled, wrapping his arm around me, pulling me closer to him, "You'll be okay."

Waking up that morning, Joe was already out of bed and when I went out to the livingroom, I could hear him and the babies in the other bathroom.

"Come on, time to get out," Joe said.

"No!" Noelle pleaded jokingly.

"Okay, a few more minut-"

"Mummy!" Noelle squealed.

"Morning Minxie," Joe smiled, "How are you?"

"A bit tired," I smiled weakly, "Sorry for waking you up again last night."

"Minx, seriously, don't worry about it, please," Joe smiled, standing up and giving me a hug and kiss.

"Mama!" Noah smiled, splashing in the bath water.

"Good morning lovelies," I smiled, squatting down by the bathtub as they both gave me wet hugs.

"Aw, now my shirt is all wet," I giggled, making them laugh and splash me a bit more.

"My shirt," Joe laughed.

"Oops, yeah!" I agreed.

"Come on, time to get out, the water will be getting cold," Joe smiled, grabbing the towels.

"No!" Noelle giggled.

"Come on darling," Joe smiled.

Noelle got out and jumped on Joe's lap for him to wrap her in the towel.

I scooped up Noah and dried him off before getting him dressed.

As the kids settled down to play, I decided to make brunch for us, as I had slept in quite late so it was the in between time.

"Joe, do you think I should go to the doctors' about my nightmares?" I asked nervously.

"Sure, what bad could come from going to the doctors'?" Joe smiled, eating some fruit I had cut up.

"Okay," I nodded.

"But I also think you just need to relax a bit and you'll be okay. You're always so tense recently," Joe shrugged.

"Yeah, okay. I'll give it another few days and try to relax before I see if I should make an appointment," I nodded, finishing making brunch, "Let's eat."
