"Sydney? Are you absolutely sure?" I asked, "I know it's a lot to ask of you."

"Minx! Honestly, it's no problem! You said the twins will be staying with your mum and dad?" She asked.

"Yeah, so it'll just be Noelle and Noah."

"For sure, and you said for a long weekend, so next weekend, but from Thursday to Monday?"

"Yeah, if that's okay. Obviously we'll pay you generously and I will give you more details when I know them too."

"Okay, yeah, absolutely no problem, I'm actually looking forward to it," She agreed happily.

"Thank you so much! I'll talk to you later, bye," I said.

Sydney said good-bye and then we hung up.

"So, what's the verdict?" Joe asked, walking into the room carrying Ozzy.

"Yeah, she said she'll do it!" I smiled.

"Awesome! I'm excited," Joe grinned excitedly, "I'm excited you get to come with me."

"Me too," I smiled.

Joe has a getaway gig with Zoe, Alfie, Caspar, Oli, and Marcus next weekend in Greece, and thankfully everything has been able to work out perfectly so I get to go with them. At first we were planning on taking the kids, but then my mum offered to watch them, but I was hesitant about her watching all four of them so I asked Sydney to watch Noelle and Noah for the weekend.

It's not that I didn't want my mum to watch all four kids, I just don't want to wear her out and cause her any extra, extra stress (not that taking care of the twins won't cause her stress, I know it will, but four kids would just be too much). But nevertheless, I am beyond grateful that they are both willing to watch the kids so Joe and I can get away for a long weekend.

"We're going to have so much fun," Joe hummed excitedly, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and kissing the side of my neck.

Ozzy was on our bed and babbling, smiling and drooling on himself.

"Ozzy, what're you doing? Silly boy," I smiled, picking him up and wiping his mouth.

Ozzy babbled and cooed, laughing and giggling at himself.

"Crazy kid," Joe smiled, laughing at Ozzy before leaving the room and I followed him.

"Mummy, Ava's nappy needs changing!" Noah said, pulling a funny face from her smelly nappy.

"Aw, okay, bring her here," I said, putting Ozzy in the baby cradle and Noah carried Ava to me.

"Thank you," I smiled, kissing his head as I took Ava from him, "Oh wow, someone has a poopy nappy," I laughed.

I went and changed Ava's nappy and had Joe check to see if Ozzy needed changing, but he was good, so I held Ava while I sat next to Joe on the sofa and Noelle and Noah played on the floor and also played with Ozzy.

"So, 'Elle and Noah, listen," Joe said, getting their attention, "Mummy and I are going to go away next weekend, okay? Sydney is going to come and take care of you guys for the whole weekend, okay?"

"We get to be with Sydney for the whole weekend?!" Noelle asked excitedly.

"Yeah, but you'll have to be really, really good for her, okay?" I smiled.

"Okay!" She smiled.

"And Ozzy and Ava are going to go stay with Grandma and Grandad, so it'll just be you two and Sydney."

"Okay," Noah said, coming and sitting on next to Joe and I.

"Go get your hairbrush, your hair is all knotty," I said to Noah.

He went and got his brush and started brushing his hair before giving me the brush and letting me do it after Joe took Ava from me. I brushed his hair out and braided it back for him so it was out of his face.

"It's getting quite long, maybe you should get a small trim?" I suggested.

"Okay," Noah shrugged.

He put his hairbrush away and continued playing with Noelle and Ozzy.

I went back in Joe's and I's room and put my phone on charge. I started going through my bedside drawer and organising it. I found one of my old journals that I wrote in sporadically when I first met Joe and what-not.

"What are you looking at?" Joe smiled, joining me in our room.

"A small journal I kept when we first started hanging out," I grinned.

"Ooh, I want to read it!" Joe said excitedly.

"No! This is personal!" I laughed.

"Minxie, I know everything about you," Joe said.

"Not this," I teased, waving the book in his face.

I let Joe take it and flip through it. Like I said, I only sporadically wrote in it, so there's some big time jumps and chunks of time missing.

"What?! You didn't want to be in a relationship with me at first?!" Joe gasped jokingly.

"I didn't know if I was ready for a relationship!" I defended jokingly.

Joe continued reading and flipping through it.

"You kept this?" He laughed.

It was a small post-it note that Joe had written one morning when he spent the night at James' house with me and he had to leave early in the morning because Caspar had left his keys and was locked out of their apartment, so he left me a small note and I remember, at first I had stuck it on my headboard, but later must've moved it into my journal.

"Yeah, I didn't want to throw it away," I shrugged.

"Ooh, here's the part when you thought you were pregnant, sheesh," Joe laughed, "Now look at us."

"That was after L.A., right?"

"No, Miami, remember?" Joe laughed.

"Ooh, okay," I shrugged.

We flipped through it together, reminiscing about everything.

"Aw, memories," I smiled, as we finished looking through it.

"You're so cute," Joe smiled, giving me a small kiss.

I'm so proud of us. Just thinking about everything we've been through together, obviously we've had our major up's and down's, but the main part is that we stuck together. Especially in this day in age, it's so easy for everyone to just give up in relationships, and I'm not saying that's always a bad thing, sometimes it's the right thing to do, but at the same time it's sad how many relationships fail.

Also, I'm not trying to say our lives have been hard, because we've been blessed with such easy and lucky lives, but also that doesn't mean we haven't experienced our own hardships and stressful dilemmas.

But anyway, I put the journal away and Joe kept giving me small kisses and wanting attention.

"Not now, baby," I smiled, "We have to save some excitement for our holiday," I teased.

"Damn baby," Joe smirked, "I'm willing to wait then," He joked.

"That, and I need to start making lunch for the kiddos," I smiled, giving him another small kiss before getting up.

Joe and I made our way back to the living room and I went to the kitchen and started preparing lunch.

After we all ate, the twins went down for a nap and Noah and Noelle rested, playing on their iPads and what-not while Joe and I hung out in our room, just talking about the kids and planning for next weekend.
