Aria's POV
Pain. Pain exploded into my chest, but it stopped. It came back, however, and filled up every inch of my body. I wanted to screen, but it was like I had no mouth. It was like a water balloon just popped out and was gushing everywhere.
Where am I? It's all dark and I can't open my eyes. It's as if I don't have those either...What the heck is going on?!
"Sh...ying." Words rang in my head. Where are they coming from?
"She's...dyi..., urry uhh!" Ugh, c'mon Aria! Listen!
"Oh no, no no no no! Get the needle!"
"WHAT?!?! NO-NO-NO NEEDLES!" I screamed, shooting up.
Five women where in the room, one being that pack doctor. I was in some sort of hospital bed with an IV sticking in my right arm. They all had wide eyes and flushed faces.
"Wh-What happened?" I asked worriedly.
Two of the nurses went out of the room while the remaining one flipped some switches on the monitor next to me. "Do you not know what happened?" The doctor looked worried; I think her name was Selena?
I shook my head, Selena's worry deepening. "Do you remember Cider?" she asked.
I nodded.
"Luna Elsie and Utica?"
I nodded.
"Alpha Ian?"
Nod.
"Beta Tanner?"
I waited a little bit to think about who he was, and then shook my head.
"Delta Theo?"
Nod.
She paused and took a deep breath before saying, "Do you remember Hunter?"
I gasped, remembering everything. Cider and I got kidnapped, she saved me from getting raped, and then we escaped. I saved Juni...who liked me...and fell on a sharp rock in the water. I also remembered Tanner and...Hunter.
"Oh no, where is he?!" I gasped, the heart meter beeps going faster.
"Calm down, Aria. Tonya, call the girls over here." Serena instructed. She was relaxed now. "Beta, Delta, and Hunter are on a run right now. They'll be back any minute."
"No, I need to see him!"
Serena sat down on the bed next to me and sighed, placing a hand on my own. "You should know something..."
What? Did something happen? "You've been out for days, and your heart hasn't been moving. Whenever a mate looses their mate, they—"
"Ari!!" Three people shouted, entering the room. I gasped and reached out, bringing them all into a hug.
"We were so worried!" Ui exclaimed, hugging me tight.
