Theo's POV

Oh my gosh. She shifted. Without any pain or struggle. If this is her second time shifting (she first shifted when Elsie and Utica were kidnapped), then she should feel a little bit of pain. Then again, I didn't feel her pain when she shifted that first time. That's impossible!

Cider's POV

Jesus take the wheel~. In this case, Slade take the wheel. Take it from my hand.

Theo's POV

She looked so angry...Did I do something?

Cider's POV

F*ck this sh*t I'm out, nn nn nn.

Theo's POV

The boys and I shifted fast, chasing after Cider. Her wolf could be controlling her actions. Who knows?

Cider's POV

I could smell all four boys in their wolf forms chasing after me, probably clueless as f*ck. But I jumped over the gates and ran through the forest. I eventually reached the street my house is on, and I jumped the fence into my small backyard. I shifted and opened the backdoor that had a secret trick to opening it without a key. I'm glad it's not obvious, otherwise we'd be robbed 24/7. I locked the door and ran to my room to put on some clothes since I was in my birthday suit. I slipped on a sleeveless brown hoodie that oddly matched my dark complexion and some jean shorts, along with some neon green and black tennis shoes. I grabbed my phone and wallet, sliding them into either of my front short pockets. Standing in my room, I smelled the four outside my house, and I could hear the doorbell ringing.

Luckily, my mom was at work, so she wasn't asking why I was naked outside. I opened my bedroom window and balanced on the small ledge while closing it back up again. I climbed onto my roof, on the side where the boys couldn't see me, and jumped to the house behind mine. I continued to jump roof to roof, and about seven roofs in, I looked behind me to see them on my roof in the distance.

"Tch." I muttered, hopping down from the roof I was on. I fast-walked to downtown and entered a Starbucks. That place smells so fruity, sweet, and just plain amazing, that I honestly don't think any werewolf would be able to smell their mate. Quickly, I put on my hood and went to the cash register.

"Hi, welcome to Starbucks! What can I get you?" The overly-peppy cashier chimed.

"Can I get a grande mocha frappe and a chocolate croissant?" I monetized, arms crossed. I obviously looked unamused.

"Alrighty! That'll be $6.39."

I pulled out a five and two ones. "Keep the change."

"Are you sure?"

"Just keep it."

"Alrighty! Can I get a name?"

"Cassidy." I lied.

"Alrighty!"

Sighing, I took a seat in the corner, the slight smell of Theo wafting into my nostrils. I tried to sink deeper into my hoodie and the seat cushion. My corner booth was behind others, so it was hidden from the door. His scent got closer, stopping right at the door. I rested my head on the table, hearing the door open. Sh*t, I thought, knowing if I spoke they'd hear me.

"Hi, welcome to Starbucks! What can I get you lovely gentlemen?"

"We're just meeting up with someone." Ian's voice spoke.

"Alrighty, if you need anything, just ask."

I could tell they were annoyed by the cashier like I was. I could also tell the fragrances were messing with their noses. Score.
