(A/N: Hey guys! I'm really sorry that I missed yesterday's update. Some stuff happened and I'm not going to disclose anything right now but needless to say I'm a bit anxious right now. Some things are going to be a bit more awkward for me from now on but it's alright. I'm fine, I'm safe, don't worry about me. Everyone wanted the part two for this really badly so I'm just going to give it to you. Remember to eat something, drink some water and take your meds! Love you!)

Oneshot: You are kidnapped by the Telmarines and Edmund's not too pleased

Y/N's POV

"Would you like to do the honors?" The taller guard asked the one holding the keys. Under his helmet, the key-bearer smiled, if it could be called a smile.

"I'd be happy too," he sneered. He went to switch the keys for the whip but the other man moved the whip up, out of reach.

"Well," he said. "Too bad. Glozelle gave specific orders." He turned to me, crouching down to be level with me on the ground. He pressed his face against the closely ironed bars, his jagged teeth on full display. "He said that we could have fun with this one."

I scurried back, my back pushed against the cold, jagged rock. He chuckled, standing back up and looking at the other expectantly.

"Well." He raised his eyebrows. "Open it up!"

"Not a chance," the other said. "You led me on, making me think I was going to be able to torture her. Why should I let you torture her now?" I was starting to agree with this guy.

"How 'bout we take the whole 'torturing' thing off of the table completely, yeah?" I suggested. "Why would you want to torture me anyway?"

"Information, of course." The one who wouldn't open the cell door knelt down to my level. "Though, if you couldn't figure that out, I doubt they'd tell you much."

"Firstly, I take offense to tha-" I gasped.

A sword went through the man's chest, a shadow seemingly wielding it. He didn't make any sounds of agony, no last words or howls of pain. He just dropped. Dead. The same bloody sword struck through the other man before he could react.

I screamed, standing up and squinting in an attempt to make out who had killed the guards.

"Y/N?" I could never forget that voice.

"Ed?"

When he stepped into the dim light of the staggered torches, I was filled with mixed reactions. I was glad that he had gotten out; I had been going to help him with I was captured. I couldn't see any substantial wounds on his body, which eased some of the fears that I had. What troubled me was the fact that he came back. He came back into enemy territory. He risked his life, again. He ruthlessly killed the guards. The part of my brain that stuck its head in the sand told me to be thankful, to be happy that Edmund had gotten rid of more of the 'bad guys'. The rational part with morals reminded me that there were more humane ways of dealing with the guards. He didn't necessarily have to kill them.

"Thank Aslan," he breathed, stooping to pick up the ring of keys that had fallen from the man's hand. He fumbled with them, trying a multitude of different keys before finally finding the right one and opening the cell door.

"Oh my gosh," I whispered, throwing myself at him. He dropped the keys and pushed me off of him, holding me at an arm's length, mindful of my bandaged shoulder. I stared at him in confusion.

"More time for that later," he said. "Right now, we need to get back to Grimdal and get out of here."

I nodded. Priorities.

We made our way up the dark tunnel, only stumbling a few times. Edmund led the way, holding my hand tightly. He pushed the door open, slowly as to not make any noise. He stuck his head out of the doorway, surveying our surrounding. When it was evident that there weren't any guards in our immediate vicinity, Edmund led me out of the tunnel and into a corridor. We crept to the end of it, where a door was slightly ajar. We slipped through it. When we came out the other side we were on a turret, with a large gryffin perched on the stone railing.

"Grimdal," I said, nodding my head to him in gratitude.

"My lady," he replied. He bowed, allowing Edmund to mount his back. Ed held his hand out, wanting to help me on.

"Sire," Grimdal interrupted him, "I think the lady Y/N should sit in front of you." He nodded to my shoulder. "She could further intensify her injuries if she has to support herself."

"Right," Edmund agreed, nodding his head. He scooted back on Grim's back, ready to help me up in front of him. I grabbed his hand and he quickly hoisted me up, arms around me to keep a hold of Grim's feathers.

When we had gotten away from the castle, I leaned back into Edmund. His heart was still beating very fast. His breath was ragged.

"Are you alright?" I whispered in his ear. He shivered, momentarily shutting his eyes.

"I'm fine," he choked out.

"Easy on the approach, Grim," Edmund reminded him as we started our decent into the field in front of the How. "Y/N's injured and tired, probably hungry too."

Grim nodded, gliding downward in the air. He landed softly, allowing Edmund and Y/N to dismount before taking off to the top of the How.

"Can you walk?" Edmund asked. I smiled.

"Ed, I got shot in the shoulder, not the leg." I grabbed his hand. "I did want to talk to you, though. Before we see the others, that is," I clarified.

"What is it?" he asked, putting his free arm around my shoulders, pulling me closer to him.

"Why did you come back so quickly?" I asked.

"I thought that would have been-"

"But it wasn't," I insisted, interrupting him. "Why did you go back? Why did you kill those guards? You could have knocked them out or-"

His hand had crept the back of my neck, gaining my attention. "No, Y/N. When your life is at stake, I'm not going to take any chances."

"When those chances are more humane and leave less red on your ledger, then I would suggest you consider them," I snapped.

"Hey, hey," he whispered, leaning forward to kiss my forehead. "I'm sorry. I won't do it again, I promise."

(A/N: I'm sorry that this ended really badly. I'm just tired right now and dreading tomorrow and I have to clean a bunch and wake up early for church tomorrow and shower tonight >.< I'm sorry.)
