On her way

Behold Davina will arrive in Mystic falls in the next chapter and reunite with her dad and uncle but for now enjoy this chapter

Davina's pov

I wake up gasping, I had decided to take a nap earlier and I was sleeping peacefully until I saw a vision of a witch trying to find me but that's​ not what made me gasp, I saw my father and uncle Damon they were with the witch trying to find me, my father's looking for me I must find them, I blocked off all types of locating spells to avoid being found by Katherine as I know she's been looking for me since I ran away from her but no way in hell am I going back to live with her, she ruined my life anyway I can easily do a locator spell on my father because I know he's not being protected by a cloaking spell lucky I wish I didn't have to hide myself with a cloaking spell but if there's one good thing I've learned from living with Katherine is that she's good at hiding and you must never be found unless you want to be found which in my case I don't and I will continue to stay hidden until I find my dad and uncle. After a while of debating to myself in my head I finally get off the lumpy bed I sleep in but after today I will no longer need to sleep in it, I grab a duffle bag from under my bed and I shove all my belongings inside, I don't have many clothes or things I just own three t shirts, a jacket, two pairs of jeans, four pairs of socks, five pairs of panties and one pair of shoes which are just a simple pair of black converse which are literally falling apart but who cares as for my belongings all I have is a locket that belonged to my mother, a picture of my father and uncle Damon which I stole from Katherine the bitch had been stalking them for years even after she kidnapped me so I took it upon myself to take the most recent one she had taken, I also have an old crappy phone which I stole but that's a whole other story and the last of my belongings is a book, my favourite book that I've probably read over a hundred times already but like I said it's my favourite book, once I packed everything I sneak down the hallway and down the stairs and into the kitchen, I grab three bottles of water, an apple and an orange, two packets of crisps and a chocolate bar, I also grab the money jar from the high shelf in the kitchen and take out 100 dollars then I shove everything into my duffle bag I know it's wrong to steal but I need some money, food and water to survive on the road plus it's not like the staff will notice they never check on the money jar, once I've sealed up my duffle bag I grab a piece of paper from the sticky notepad on the side and a pen to write a note to the staff,

Dear Staff
I have found my family so I am leaving this hellhole and I will not miss you or the older brats but I will miss the children you better take better care of them as it is your job to do so, don't call the cops because I'm fine and I do not want to be found see you suckers

I smirk once I finish writing and stick it on the fridge before heading out the building as quietly as possible, as soon as I'm outside I see a bus and get on it without hesitation "where to young lady?" The bus driver asks "the library on fourth Street" I reply before sitting down.

10 minutes later the bus arrives at my destination so I get off and make my way inside the library, the library is old and abandoned I've been going here since I checked myself into that dreadful orphanage, nobody ever goes there, the building is blocked off but I found another door that leads inside it was tricky to open but me being a witch I was able to do a spell that unlocks the door so now everytime I come all I have to do is pick it shut with magic so nobody will ever get in. I go straight to my cave that I made so I could sit and read for hours before I had to go back to the orphanage but now I won't be ever coming back here again after this, I crawl into the cave and pull out the picture of my father and uncle I smile at the picture, pressing two fingers to my lips then placing them against the picture "I will find you both and we shall be a family once more I promise" I whisper then place the picture on the floor and pick up the map I kept in the little cave and grab the small knife I keep hidden in the pocket of my jacket and prick the tip of my index finger and let the blood drop onto the map "now let's see where you are?" I mumble before I close my eyes and start chanting "je cherche a retrouver mon pere et Mon oncle, ou mon pere et mon oncle se deplacent" (translate French to English: I seek to find my father and uncle, where do my father and uncle roam) I watch as my blood moves along the map and stops on a spot, I look closer to see what it says "Mystic falls now why on Earth would they be there" I mutter as I know they were born and grew up in Mystic falls but I also know they moved away right they turned into vampires and I remember my father telling me how he would never step foot in Mystic falls again as there were too many bad memories so it bugs me as to why he went back there same goes for my uncle Damon although he didn't mention Mystic falls to me a lot but I know from my father he shared similar bad memories there too but I guess I'll find out for myself once I get there. I pack up my things and grab my duffle bag then head out the library and jump in the first taxi cab I see "where too miss?" The cab driver asks "where's your limit destination?" I ask "outside of Seattle" the driver replies "good that's where I want to go" I say "are you sure?" The drivers "I'm positive I'm reuniting with my father and uncle" I say "I see so what happened did your parents get a divorce and you went to live with your mom?" The drivers "it's actually a lot more complicated than that" I say "oh I understand" the driver replies with a nod trust me dude you do not understand I mutter in my head and look out window watching as we pass building after building, before I know it we're at my destination "how much?" I ask rooting through my bag "don't bother" the driver replies "what?" I ask "you've obviously have a long night a head of you so this ride is free" he replies "oh thank you have a nice night" I say before climbing out and walking off waiting until another cab comes by.

2 hours later I'm in another town
I get out the cab I was in and walk away and head over to the motel where I'll stay for the night. Once I've checked in I head up to my suite, place my bag on the floor, shut the door and dive into the bed immediately falling into a somewhat nice sleep.
