A twist of fate (Kolvina)

Two dates part 1

So this will be a two part chapter, this part will focus on Kol and Davina leaving for their date and Klaus and Caroline babysitting Neavah while the second part will focus on Kol and Davina's date.

Friday night it's about 5 O'clock

Caroline's pov

I arrive at the Mikaelsons mansion for my babysitting date with Klaus. a few weeks ago he expressed how he wanted to spend time with his niece but was too scared to be with her alone in case something bad happened so I offered to be with him when he finally did get the chance and tonight is that day. I'm babysitting Neveah with him and I'm classing it as a date I'm quite excited if I'm being honest.

"Klaus I'm here" I announce from the patio knowing he can hear me with his super hearing "Caroline you're here come in" Davina says answering the door looking gorgeous as hell for her date with Kol yeah she's definitely getting laid tonight

"you look hot" I say stepping into the house Davina blushes "thanks" she says giving me a twirl I wolf whistle at her making her giggle as Klaus appears "you look terrific love" he compliments me I raise an eye brow at him "I'm wearing jeans and a crop top" I say "still you look terrific" he says kissing my cheek "now where's Kol and that gorgeous baby of yours?" I ask leaning into Klaus as he places an arm around my shoulder "Kol is still getting ready as for Neveah she's in her bassinet in the living room so follow me" she says turning on her heal and heading to the living room me and Klaus follow her.

"She just woke up from a nap a few minutes ago but she's been fed and had her diaper changed there's a bottle of milk in the fridge that I pumped earlier for her to have before bed" Davina explains as she walks over to the bassinet in the corner of the living room "you pumped milk?" Klaus asks Davina gives him a look "yes" she replies "why?" He asks "I breast feed her she only drinks my milk so I pumped out milk from my boobs for her in a bottle" she retorts I laugh at the look on his face "I didn't need to know that" he says shuddering "well you asked" she says grinning before looking down at Neveah. "hey baby your uncle Klaus and aunt Caroline are going to look after you while me and daddy go out for a bit" she coos at her daughter I hear Neveah coo back at her mother "aunt Caroline?" I question as I walk over to her she turns to face me "yeah you're dating her uncle so might as well call you her aunt" Davina replies a smile breaks out on my face at her words "aunt Caroline I like it" Klaus says I turn to give him a smile before turning to look at the baby girl in the bassinet "oh my haven't you gotten big" I gasp as I lay eyes on her she's so adorable "I only saw you briefly after you were born so it's nice to get a good look at you now" I coo she smiles at me "Davina your daughter is adorable I might have to kidnap her" I joke causing Davina to let out a laugh.

"I'm afraid you can't have her she's mine and Davina's" Kol says behind me I turn to see him dressed up nicely in a button up dress shirt, jeans and converse, his hair is styled slightly and I can smell aftershave on him yeah him and Davina are definitely getting it on tonight "look at you dressed up nicely" I say crossing my arms he grins "dressed to impress speaking of which darling you look devine" he says looking at Davina raking his lust filled eyes up and down her body biting his lip "I could say the same" Davina says biting her bottom lip. yeah I can feel the sexual tension between them and it's really intense "okay off you two go we'll take good care of Neveah have fun now" I say practically shoving them out the living room door and out the front door "take care of our baby" Kol says mainly looking at Klaus "we will now have fun on your date" Klaus says shutting the door in their faces "rude" Kol scoffs through the door making me laugh "bye Kol" I say taking Klaus's hand and dragging him back to the living room where his niece is.

15 minutes later

"Why won't she stop crying?" Klaus asks holding a hysterical Neveah in his arms bouncing her slightly "she probably just misses her parents she hasn't been away from them since she was born" I say "well she is feeding from her mother's busoms" he says I laugh at him "busoms? Seriously you say boobs fine around me but when you're talking about Davina breast feeding you say busoms" I say laughing "shut up" he grumbles as he continues to bounce Neveah who is still crying. "maybe we should call Davina and Kol" he suggests "no they're on a date don't disturb them we need to calm her down ourselves" I say sternly crossing my arms "fine" he says before looking at the crying baby in his arms "Neveah come on I know you miss mommy and daddy but they'll be home soon I promise" he says gently Neveah calms down a little but is still crying "is that what's wrong you miss mommy and daddy?" He asks as she looks him in the eye I smile knowing he's getting somewhere with her "well little love I have some stories to tell you about your daddy" he says I look at him suspiciously "Klaus maybe that's not a good idea" I say thinking he's going to tell her something horrible about Kol "relax it's not a bad story love" he says looking at me as he walks over to her bassinet and gently lays her down in the bassinet.

I watch as he pulls a chair next to the bassinet and sits down "once upon a time there was a young boy who lived in a village with his parents and his siblings his name was Kol and he was the cheeky adventurous one out of all the siblings he would venture out to the woods alone because none of his siblings were brave enough too and he would nurture injured animals back to good health with his magic, one day one of his brothers came home crying as his pet goat Knightly was taken away by a mean man he was so sad by the lose of Knightly because Knightly was the first and only pet his brother ever had and so Kol laid a hand upon his brothers shoulder and said don't worry brother I'll find him and bring him back to you and he did just that he found the goat and returned him to his brother who was thrilled to have his pet back but he never thanked Kol for what he done he didn't think he needed too but he did he always took his younger brother for granted until now the end" Klaus says my heart soared as he spoke to Neveah in such a soothing tone as he told the story and I smiled when Neavah stopped crying a few seconds into the story. "she stopped crying" I say Klaus looks at me with pride in his eyes "I got her to stop crying" he says "I think she just wanted someone to talk to her" I say he smiles "well I'll talk to her as long as she likes" he says looking at Neveah with a smile on his face I look over his shoulder to find her smiling "aww she's smiling at you she likes you" I say "do you think she likes me better than Elijah?" He asks I smack the back of his head lightly "don't compete with Elijah over being the favourite uncle she loves the both of you" I say "alright" he says as we look at the sweet little girl lying in the bassinet who stares back at us in wonder and curiousity she's so precious it makes me want a child of my own but that will never happen because I'm a vampire.
