Kol's pov

I enter Mystic grill after having a nice feed on two locals, I head up to the bar "a class of bourbon for me" I say to the barman who asks me what I want, just as he passes me the bourbon, I see a girl from the corner of my eye but it's not just any girl it's Davina with a smirk I turn around and start heading over to her when I notice how calm she looks, she's sat in a booth with her legs pulled up, her head looking down at the book in her hand while the other hand remains by the drink on the table but that's not actually what captures my attention, what captures my attention is how the moonlight settles on her perfect skin making it glow, her eyelashes flutter every now and then, she runs a hand through her luscious brown hair  hair before turning a page in her book, it's like she doesn't notice the people around her almost like she's shutting the world out but she looks so pure and carefree and for a second my dead heart thumps loudly in my chest, I quickly regain myself when I notice I'm getting off board and make my way over to her "hey you" I say making her look up and I look at her in awe as her striking blue eyes glisten perfectly from the moonlight and pierce in to my own "hi it's Kol right?" She asks "yes that's right and I don't believe I know your name you kinda left me without the pleasure of knowing your name" I say even though I already know her name due Nik "well that's because I don't give out my name to strangers" she says "smart girl but you know my name it's only fair that I know yours" I say "why would you even care to know my name I'm just some clumsy girl who you saw walk into a door" she comments "I admitt you walking into that door was funny but also adorable and I think you seem interesting" I say "do you now?" She asks with a smirk damn I like this girl's attitude she's fiesty "why yes plus you're absolutely gorgeous" I say with a wink, her cheeks tinge pink slightly score her I made her blush "thank you now what do you need?" She asks confusing me "what?" I ask "look I know you're a vampire so tell me what you want and I might consider" she says making me feel a little baffled "I don't want anything from you I swear I just want to know you better you intrigue me" I say not knowing if what I just said is a lie of the truth "well in that case come sit and we'll talk like normal people" she says making me grin at her words as she closes her book and puts her legs down as she points to the seat across from her "mind if I sit next to you?" I ask gesturing to the spot next to her "go ahead knock yourself out" she says I smile and sit down and we start talking away for hours just talking about random stuff nothing personal though  until it's really late and Davina's got to go home "my uncle texted me it's almost midnight and he wants me home so I've got to go" she says collecting her stuff and standing, I stand up with her "don't you have a dad?" I ask curiously even though I know she has one but I'm more curious as to why Damon is texting her to come home home rather than Stefan "I do he's just really busy it's complicated and I don't want to bore you with my life story" she says "I don't mind I always have time to listen if you need someone" I say truthfully although getting the gossip on what's going on with the Salvatore's could be useful to Nik "thank you Kol maybe another time" she says "you want to see me again?" I ask "yeah you're not so bad" she says with a grin "how flattering" I respond making her giggle slightly "here's my number call me or text me whenever you want to hang out or talk" she says handing a ripped piece of paper to me "I will definitely call you" I say truthfully "great well I best be going" she says turning to leave "wait I still haven't got your name" I say "Davina and that's all you're getting for now" she says with a wink before walking away as she does I check her out from head to toe damn it she's hot and that ass of hers is just perfect, I want to devour her and make her scream in pleasure, I mentally groan when I realise I'm getting turned on by a mortal, right time to kill something I think to get my mind off Davina
