What is happening

Kol's pov

After I dropped Davina off at her house, I decided to just drive around than go back home to Nik so I can think clearly, I stayed to comfort Davina and not once did I get bored, get annoyed or talk myself down about it, I enjoyed watching her sleep she looked so peaceful and so beautiful despite the red puffy cheeks from her crying that night, I tightly gripped the steering wheel at the sight of her crying, I never wanted to kill somebody so bad, I couldn't rack my brain around the fact Stefan was practically neglecting​ Davina for Elena, I swear that doppelganger causes trouble for anyone she meets and I can't wait for my brother to kill her. When Davina kissed me on the cheek I really wasting expecting but I loved feeling her lips against my skin and I so badly wanted to feel her soft lips against mine but she didn't unfortunately but I will kiss her one way or another. I soon decide to finally go back home and when I step inside, Nik is there waiting for me with his arms crossed "had a fun night?" He asks "not really it was quite boring" I lie I can't have him knowing that I may possibly be developing feelings for Davina "I see well I want to tell you I'm going to perform the ritual tomorrow which means Elena finally dies" he says "good she causes nothing but problems" I say "yes and I need you to do me a favour" he says "what now brother?" I ask fed up "I have no doubt the mystic falls gang will try to stop me from doing the ritual so I need you to distract Davina so I don't have to worry about her" he says "I already am distracting her" I say "yes but I need you to do more she doesn't get in my way tomorrow night take her on a date" he says "a date we've only known each other a few days" I says "so why do you care? You're Kol Mikaelson a heartless wild killer you'd usually compell a girl to go on a date with you the moment you meet them and since Davina can't be compelled because she's a witch you'll just have to use your charm" he says his words cut me like knives "fine whatever" I mumble before walking away before I lunged at him because he's really got me angry. I throw myself on my bed and just lay there until my phone goes off snapping me from my sleep, I grab my phone and see Davina has texted me, bringing a smile to my face as I open the text

Davina: hey I just wanted to say thank you for last night

I instantly reply

Kol: I think you already did thank me love

Davina: I know but I just don't think a thank is enough anyway I have some news

Kol: what's the news love?

Davina: I'm not leaving Mystic falls after all me and my dad made up he apologized and took me out to spend quality time with me without his girlfriend

I smile and sigh in relief that she's not leaving, happy that she and her dad made up but how long will it be before Stefan let's get down again

Kol: that's great news love I'm glad things are okay with you and your dad

Davina: thank you

Just then an idea pops into my head, Nik wants me to distract by taking her on date and she can't think of a better way to thank me for last night

Kol: since you're happy why don't we celebrate?

Davina: celebrate how?

Kol: let me take you out on a date tomorrow

Davina: a date? Why

Kol: well you can't think of a better way to thank me for being there for you and you're not leaving Mystic falls so I think a date is in order

Davina: I don't know don't you think we're going a little fast? I mean we only met a few days ago

Kol: so people who go on blind dates do it

Davina: they're called blind dates for a reason

I chuckle at her response

Kol: look I know we've only just met but I really like you I can't shake off these feelings that I'm developing for you love please just go on this one date with me?

I know that what I said in that text is true, I am developing feelings for her that I simply can't shake off

Davina: okay fine just one date

I get all giddy inside at her response

Kol: yay I have a date with the prettiest girl in town

Davina: oh shut up

Kol: can't when I feel so lucky now if you excuse me I'm going to brag about how the sexiest witch in Mystic falls will be going on a date with me 😜

Davina: oh you sure know how to make a girl blush 😊

I grin at her response, why yes I do Davina Claire-Salvatore

Kol: if you want me to make you blush I can think of so many other ways to make you go red in the face 😉

Davina: stop it don't you have some bragging to do?

Kol: yes indeed I do love I'll text you tomorrow to tell you the details

Davina: what time will the date be? As I have to help out with something

Kol: is 7 o clock okay for you?

Davina: can you make the date earlier?

Kol: sure how about 4 o clock?

That's​ a reasonable time that she can't say no to, I'll just have to keep her preoccupied

Davina: it's perfect I'll be waiting to hear from you Mr Mikaelson

I grin at the nickname, oh I like it

Kol: ohh Mr Mikaelson I like it 😜

Davina: get your head out of the gutter

Kol: yes mam

Davina: goodnight Kol

Kol: goodnight love

I click my phone off after that, I can't wait to see her again tomorrow and I will make sure we both have fun on this date, I will make sure it's the best date she's ever had, wait has she even been on a date before, has she had sex, wait why am I thinking​ like this? What is happening to me?
