Part 2 of father daughter day

Davina's pov

I was sat in the passenger seat of my dad's car as he drove home, everything was silent in the car we didn't speak word to each other but we didn't need to as it was a comfortable silence but then a question plagued​ it's way in my head so I spoke up "dad?" I say "yes Davina" he says "can I ask you something?" I ask him "I'm your dad you can ask me anything" he replies "what happened to my mom?" I ask "what?" He says "I know my mom's dead Katherine told me but how did she die?" I ask him "Katherine never told you?" He asks "she said it didn't matter and that I should move on and forget about it but I can't forget about someone who was my mom" I say sadly "your mother left to protect you but it was Katherine's fault she died" he said "what happened?" I ask "when I met your mom she was on the run from a coven of witches who wanted to sacrifice her for power I kept her hidden from the witches and we had you she loved you more than anything Davina but 2 days after you were born the witches from your mom's coven had found her and she left so they wouldn't find you because if they knew about you they would've killed you too anyway the witches killed her but it was Katherine's fault she told the witches where your mom was" he said "my mom's​ dead because of Katherine" I cry "I'm sorry I didn't know until she told me I was furious" he said "did you love my mom or was she just a one night stand?" I ask fearing the answer "I loved your mother she was different from other women" he says with a smile "what was she like?" I ask "she was kind, smart, funny and quite the fiesty one she always helped someone if she saw they were in need of help she was so generous she had the biggest heart ever and it's one of the reasons why I fell in love with her" he says I smile at every word he said "do you miss her?" I ask "more than anything I still love her very much even though I'm dating someone else" he says I smile through my tears "what did she look like?" I ask "she was beautiful you look a lot like her actually" he says "really?" I ask "you are an exact replica of her" he says with a smile I smile back at him "listen Davina I just want you to know even though I have a new girlfriend nobody will ever replace your mother not even Elena she will always have a place in my heart" he says as he pulls up outside the boarding house "good to know" I say with a smile before getting out the car, I walk up to the front door and am greeted by uncle Damon "hey kiddo hey Stefan have fun?" He asks "yeah it was great" I say stepping inside the house as my dad enters Elena walks over to him "hey Stefan I called you like 15 times but your phone went to voice mail I was beginning to get worried if Klaus got you" she says touching his face, I roll my eyes at her but luckily nobody sees "sorry my phone was turned off I was spending quality time with my daughter" he says "okay how are you Davina? Are you alright after last night?" She asks concerned "I'm good thank you" I say "where did you go we all looked everywhere for you" she says "no need to be worried I didn't stay at some strangers house I stayed at a motel" I say she nods but turning back to Stefan "Stefan we need to talk it's about Klaus tomorrow is a full moon and that's when he plans on sacrificing​ me for the ritual" she says "where did you hear this?" Stefan asks "Elijah paid a visit while you were out and he told us what Klaus is planning" uncle Damon explains "how does Elijah know what Klaus is planning when he doesn't talk to him?" I ask "Elijah has some witches working for him they spied on Klaus and told Elijah what he was planning" Bonnie says coming out from the living room "hey Davina I'm glad you're okay" she says pulling me into a hug "thank you Bonnie" I say pulling away with a smile on my face "we need to come up with a plan to protect Elena and kill Klaus" uncle Damon says and pushes everyone towards the living room "wait I though Elijah was going to be the one to kill him?" I ask "yes but I don't exactly trust Elijah so we need a plan B" he explains I mentally roll my eyes when will we get to have one normal day, the most normal day I've had is when I met Kol and the day I hung out with him, I wonder if he'd want to hang out again or do I sound too clingy and needy? I'll give it a few days before I suggest anything for now I'll just text him which reminds me I thought pulling out my phone and typing a message to Kol

Davina: hey I just wanted to say thank you for last night

My face lights up when my phone pings

Kol: I think you already did thank me love

Davina: I know but I just don't think a thank you is enough anyway I have some news

Kol: what's the news love?

Davina: I'm not leaving Mystic falls after all me and my dad made up he apologized and took me out to spend quality time with me without his girlfriend

Kol: that's great news love I'm glad things are okay with you and your dad

Davina: thank you

Kol: since you're​ happy why don't we celebrate?

Davina: celebrate how?

Kol: let me take you out on a date tomorrow

My eyes widen at the text

Davina: a date? Why?

Kol: well you can't seem to find a better way to thank me for being there for you and you're not leaving Mystic falls so I think a date is in order

Davina: I don't know don't you think we're going a little fast? I mean we only met a few days ago

Kol: so people who go on blind dates it

Davina: they're called blind dates for a reason

Kol: look I know we've only just met but I really like you I can't shake off these feelings that I'm developing for you love please just go on this one date with me?

I blush at his text, he has feelings for me?

Davina: okay fine just one date

Kol: yay I have a date with the prettiest girl in town

Davina: oh shut up

Kol: can't when I feel so lucky now if you excuse me I'm going to brag about how the sexiest witch in Mystic falls will be going on a date with me 😜

Davina: oh you sure know how to make a girl blush 😊

Kol: if you want me to make you blush I can think of so many others way to make you go red in the face 😉

My eyes widen at his response and I feel a sudden pool form in my panties, oh not again I mentally groan

Davina: stop it don't you some dragging to do?

Kol: yes indeed I do love I'll text you tomorrow​ to tell you the details

My eyes widen when he says tomorrow, I can't go knowing I have to help protect Elena

Davina: what time will the date be? As I have to help out with something

Kol: is 7 o clock okay for you?

Davina: can you make the date earlier?

Kol: sure how about 4 o clock?

Davina: it's perfect I'll be waiting to hear from you Mr Mikaelson

Kol: ohh Mr Mikaelson I like it 😜

Davina: get your head out of the gutter

Kol: yes mam 😃

Davina: goodnight Kol

Kol: goodnight love

I smile and click my phone off and focus on what uncle Damon's saying, I look around the room and see nobody noticed me on my phone, wow they really are determined get rid of Klaus not that I can't blame them, the guy is out to Kill Elena, Tyler and Caroline for some ritual.
