Back to New York

2 weeks later

I hear a knock on the front door. Who could that possibly be, there is no one around for miles. And I thought the gates should be closed unless jace left them open when he left an hour ago.
            
I open the door and see Isabelle. "By the angel iz, you scared me. Come on in" I say and move so she can come in. "Sorry. Do you know how long it took to find this place?" "Im sure it took a while. We took a portal here so I wouldn't know but I do know it is far away from everywhere else. So what are you doing in idris?" I ask her. "You didn't know, Alec moved to idris and so did me and Magnus. Magnus wasn't real happy about having to move over here but he did it for Alec. The three of us are now all living in a house in Alicante."

I walk into the kitchen and she follows me. "Did you walk all the way over here" I ask her. She nods and says "of course. How else would I get here?" My eyes widen "good lord izzy you must be exhausted and freezing. You want me to make you something to warm you up?" "That would be great. Hot chocolate please" she says. I nod and pull out a mug. I pour some milk in the mug and stick it in the microwave. While it is heating up I turn to her. "So, not that I'm not glad to see you but why exactly are you here?" "I'm here because I'm taking you shopping" she says giving me that 'there's no way your getting out of this' look. I pull the mug out of the microwave and add chocolate and stir it. I stick it back in and turn back to her. I sigh and say "izzy don't give me that look please. Why do we need to go shopping anyway? And we can't leave now since jace is gone and if he finds me gone when he comes back he will put this whole planet on lockdown looking for me." She smiles and says "oh I'm sure he will. We actually do need to go shopping. You know why? We need to get you a coronation dress." "Why now? I mean its not for another 6 months or so." "I know but you still need to look fantastic when you do become queen. There is sure to be a ball after the coronation. Have you seen the castle now?" I shake my head, "No I haven't. I bet it's nice though. I'm not sure there is a dress shop in idris for that kind of thing izzy." "There's not but I know a good place in New York we can go to" she says and smirks.

Just then the microwave goes off again. I take it out and stir some more and add chocolate. I hand it to her. She takes it and takes a sip. "Iz, New York is on the other side of the world. And like I said earlier, we can't leave now Jace will freak out. We can go later though. Besides I have animals to take care of." She looks confused when I said animals. "What do you mean animals? I thought you only had chrissie." "No I have chrissie and three horses." Her eyes widen. "Wow. I would like to see these new horses of yours when I can feel my fingers and toes again. We will go shopping later then. Where did jace go?" "I don't remember but he left a hour or so ago. I'm sure he won't be gone too long though. I know you are going crazy to go shopping." She nods and drinks the rest of her hot chocolate. "So where is that dog?" "Um... somewhere."
                  
I turn out of the kitchen and call chrissies name. She comes walking down to me and we both go in the kitchen. She goes excitedly to izzy. Izzy bends down and pets her. I fill up her food bowl for her to eat breakfast. "I can show you the horses if you want. They are in the barn I put them in there a little while ago. They probably need to go back out." She nods excited. I smile and go to  my room and put on a jacket and some boots to keep my feet warm. I walk back to the kitchen and the two of us go outside. "It's a small little backyard you both have" she says. "Yeah but the horses are over here come on."

I open the gate and close it behind her. We go up to the barn and I slide the doors open. "I think Jace took trapper with him. So just autumn and major in here." Stay here I will get autumn" I say and walk to her stall. I slip her halter around her head and connect a lead rope and walk her out. "This is autumn" I say stopping at izzy so she can see her. "I like the color of her mane" she says and pets her neck. "Come on autumn" I say a few minutes later. I take her around the barn and let her go. She runs down the hill and out of my sight. I go back in he barn and get major. "And this is major" I say letting Isabelle see him. "Oh he's so pretty" she says petting him. I take him out and come back for izzy. "What does trapper look like?" "Oh he is a buck skinned color. You might like him."

We walk out of the large barn. I hope trapper had breakfast otherwise it will be a long time till we finally get to leave and go shopping. I go back in the house and tell her I'm going to change. I change into a blue long sleeved shirt, grey jacket and a pair of jeans.
