The classroom Laoshi spoke about was large and lavish. There were plenty of seats, each one covered in a satin so soft and thick it was as if one was sitting on a cloud. There was already a small group of people in their seats.
One, a male in his early twenties and the other two were both younger females. When the small group saw them enter they dropped their current conversation and hurried over.
"I'd say to give her to him but..." The man squinted at Mu Guiying, rubbing his chin as he assessed her only inches from her own face.
The man was tall with a long nose, big eyes, and a shapely face. Overall, he was quite gorgeous. If one could disregard his frivolous appearance, that is. Apart from his face the rest of him told a story of recklessness. Loose clothes that seemed to be undone more than necessary. His hair was black with a few bright red streaks in it. In Addor's world, this might not have been something new but to Mu Guiying and Chen Mei Xiu it was like seeing a beast that didn't attack a human. Not impossible but exceedingly strange.
"...They're a little bit too much..." A girl came up from behind him and nodded.
The next one was a bright, bubbly, and slightly overweight girl. Her hair was a dull grey pulled into a cute, fluffy braid that trailed down her side to the right. Her almond-shaped eyes and slightly over-sized nose didn't make for the most attractive features but few women would be able to contend with her beautiful and curvaceous figure.
The last one seemed to have followed simply for the sake of not being left alone at the back of the room. She was a young girl whose age was hard to tell from the bangs that hid most of her face.
"But this one!" The bubbly girl's eyes lit up as she glanced at Chen Mei Xiu.
The bubbly girl and the male looked at each other at the same time with a large smile on their faces and said, ""Lian Jing!""
"Um... What?" Mu Guiying was feeling uncomfortable due to the unwanted attention as she backed up into the back of the group, pushing Addor forward as she did so.
After the couple looked up and down Addor their expressions paused and their heads cocked to the side.
Laoshi spoke over them, "They are trying to play your matchmaker. I hope you will concede early on. The last ones to ignore than didn't have a good ending."
