Chapter 33: Happy New Year

Ama's P.O.V

Time flies sure fast. Soon enough we'll be entering a new year. So right now, I've been looking a lot of my memories of my phone for some reason. No wonder the storage in my phone is about to finish, I never transfer all of this picture into my computer. Also, I'm doing this because I have no plan at all today. Should I bring Kitsune to town as I promise today? I wanna do something before 2017 ends. So this what it feels like to be lifeless.

"What are you thinking?" Kotaro's voice snap my thoughts.

"Suggest me anything to do before another year starts." I glance at him who's sitting on the dining table, revising.

He stop as he put down his pen then hold his chin, showing me his thinking pose. He still thinking. Might take a while since he hasn't given me any response after ten minutes. It's kinda hopeless waiting for him to pop out an idea for me.

"Sorry." he shrug afterwards. "Now you said it, it does feel lifeless if we don't do anything before another year starts." he agrees my thought. "Should we ask NCT and the VOEZ or maybe your Inukai senpai too?" he suggest.

"I don't know." I replied the look bald at the blankness.

"Should I call them?" Kotaro suggest.

"Maybe later." I state out my opinion.

"Suit yourself." Kotaro respond and I can hear him writing again.

There's literally nothing much we could do, and I'm here minding my own business by reading novels. Seriously, I should be like Kotaro, revising for my big exam. But Kotaro is just revising for the January intake of my school. Talk about, siblings never separate each other. Not long enough, someone knock on the door.

"I'll get it." Kotaro volunteered since the dining table is nearby the entrance door anyway. I look at the direction to know who would pay a visit to us.

"Thank you Kotaro." I heard a familiar male voice. "Hi Ama." Jaehyun wave at me.

"Hi Jae." I replied then Kotaro immediately go back to the dining table. "Why are you alone?" I look at Jaehyun who's walking to my direction then sit on the couch nearby me.

"Well... there's something I wanna ask you." he looks a little bit shy.

"Okay." I'm ready for whatever he want to say.

"What are you doing?" he gives out his question.

"Doing what?" I look at him in confusion because I don't quite understand what did he mean on his question.

"I mean, like today what are you gonna do?" he clarifies it.

"I don't know." I just shrug. "I wanna do something before 2017 ends." I said. "Do you have anything fun to do?" I look at him.

"Kinda." he replied. "Wanna follow us to SM building?" he suggest.

"Why?" I squint my eyes at him.

"The building does not occupied by anyone so I, I mean, we NCT thought that it will be a good idea to have some fun inside of the building." Jaehyun answered. "Let's just say, we are not practicing or anything, we just gonna have some fun until the clock strikes midnight." he explains in full detail that I finally understands what he meant.

"Sounds fun." Kotaro join in. "Will the others be there too?" Kotaro look at Jaehyun.

"All of the NCT, yeah." Jaehyun replied. "Unless, you would also like to invite your friends too, I don't think Taeyong hyung would mind about it cause the more the merrier right?" Jaehyun turn to me.
