Chapter 40: Outing Celebratory

Ama's P.O.V

"Bye Ama." Hanmi is the last one to bid me after school.

"Bye." I bid her back as I wave at her.

Well, I don't want to say it's after school since all of the Beyond students have been starting to stay back late to study together. We've been studying a lot of supplement lately. We're studying like tomorrow is our last day to studied. That's why every seconds count for us. Since we're the one who will be taking both national and international examination anyway.

In any case, after quite some time for me stayed behind, I decided to walk back to the SM dorm by commuting. It's good for health and I can enjoy the scenery even though the sun haven't started to set yet. I'm actually glad and yet sad since today is Friday, the beginning of another weekend but I still have to do revision for my final.

As I arrived at dorm, I just greet the receptionist as usual since they already knew who I am because I've been living here for a while now, then straight away got to my dorm. When I entered the dorm, I straight away walk upstairs and start taking shower.

I assumed that Kotaro and the rest of the NCT will be coming home late judging by the text Jaemin sent me saying, I don't have to wait for them because their practice might take most of the night time today.

Since those message makes me feel to be part believe and some part not to, I just get ready with a snack for Kotaro while I cooked something for me to eat tonight. I'm feeling something savoury tonight so I decided to make salmon for my dinner.

Right after I finished cooking and cleaning all the cooked dishes, I just bring the plate on the dining table and start eating silently. To be honest, it felt awkward by myself to eat this way. Actually, even worst, I already lost my appetite after taking several bites. In the end, I wrapped the salmon and store it inside of the refrigerator.

As a result, I do not feel full neither feel hungry. It's just in between. And the time is till early for dinner actually. I have no idea why I did that. In conclusion, all I could do was just reading a novel to clear my minds up. Not until someone ring the doorbell.

I almost jolted in surprise sone I was reading some thriller novel and put aside that the fact there would be someone trying to kill me just by ringing the doorbell. In any case, I stand from my spot and walk towards the door and opened it. By then, it reveal a tall a figure. I guess, I know who this is.

"Johnny?" I asked even though I know since he's the tallest among all of the NCT.

"Hi Ama." he greet me. "How school?" he asked.

"It was fine." I replied.

"Must be tiring too right?" he added and I agree with him while nodding  and look at him weirdly.

"I thought you guys are gonna come back around late at night?" I asked in confusion.

He smiled instead and tell me, "Grab your coat."

"Why?" I asked in more confusion now.

"Just grab it." he said and I follow his command. "Let's go out." he said then pulled my hand forcefully, leaving the door to slam closed by itself before I could lock it.

"Where are we going?" I asked while he is dragging me to the lobby then outside of the dormitory.

"Anywhere is fine." he replied without looking at me. But, I can see that he is happy judging by his smile.

We've ran too far but he stopped as soon as I assumed that he finally realises it. We stopped for awhile to take our breathe then walk in a normal pace. The city light lights up the earth's surface star while there's also a star in the night. I can say that this is like a starry night.
