I sat up as the door swung open but this time only Ben entered. I fixed him with a sad gaze as he walked toward me. He sat beside me with a brief look of guilt in his eyes before he hardened his gaze.

"Why?" Was the only thing I said before his lips crashed against mine. My stomach lurched but I couldn't pull away. He needed to see that I'm trying to love him even if my heart never would. I needed his trust. We separated after a few moments as he cupped my cheek.

"I've missed you Becca," Ben said as I looked down.

"I will be with you both but I need one thing," I whispered. I wanted to keep my ring and only Ben could get me the ring.

"Anything," he said as I took a small breath.

"I want my ring back," I said firmly.

"I will ask but I don't know if Jackson will allow you to have it on your finger," Ben said getting up. My stomach rumbled as he took my hand. "Let's get something to eat." We walked down the dark hallway and into the kitchen. I could feel Jackson watching us as I opened the fridge. I grabbed some leftover Chinese food pulling it out. I put the white container on the counter eating the chow mein cold. Ben sat in the living room but still kept me in his sight.

"Where is Jack anyway?" I yelled from the kitchen as Ben got to his feet. He wrapped his arms around my hips pulling me against his body.

"Who cares? I have you all to myself for now," Ben said as I turned toward him.

"But I wanted to tell him the good news," I muttered as Ben sighed releasing me.

"Tell me what?" Jackson asked entering the kitchen. I flashed him my best smile while glaring at him internally.

"I want to stay. Can I ask one little thing in return?" I asked him softly. He strode toward me tipping my chin up his lips touching mine.

"Anything my love," Jackson said as I grinned.

"I was wondering if I could still wear the ring you took?" I said hesitantly. Jackson stared at me while he processed my request before he held the ring out to me. I slipped the ring onto my finger before my lips pressed against Jackson's once more. I had to fake my love for both of these men.

"Together we will finish what I started and you will live like a queen," Jackson said firmly as my heart raced. I hoped I could somehow prevent the destruction he was planning.

"Now let's get you something nicer to wear," Ben said gripping my arm. He led me back to the bedroom pulling out a black satin floor length dress with a slit up the front. He stepped out of the room giving me time to change. Even when he was a monster he respected me enough to give me privacy. The black fabric clung to my body and showed off my my stomach. I slipped black high heeled sandals on as I opened the door. Ben had waited outside my door for me. He gripped my hand as we walked back to the kitchen. I paused as we passed Katie's room. I noticed how each item had been left untouched since she left. Ben kept walking dragging me along with him. I wondered if he ever loved his sister at all. Jackson rushed toward me planting a kiss of my cheek before pulling me out of Ben's grasp.

"Where are we going?" I asked Jackson as he wrapped his arm tightly around my waist.

"To see an old friend," Jackson said as we exited the house. We climbed into Jackson's car as we sped down the road. The realization hit me about halfway to our location, Mason. Jackson was either going to get Mason to help him or he no longer trusted him and wanted him dead. Jackson reached over gripping my hand pulling me from my thoughts.

"We are seeing Mas aren't we," I stated as Jackson's eyes filled with jealousy. He hated that I didn't call Mason by his full name.

"We have unfinished business with him," Jackson said tightly as he pulled the car to a stop. I jumped out of the car quickly hoping my appearance would tip off Mason so he could get away without getting hurt. Jackson snaked his arm around my waist as we barged into Mason's house. Mason's eyes landed on us causing him to freeze.

"This is the super powerful witch you mentioned?" Ben asked skeptically.

"Yes my old friend," he said with rage crackling in his green gaze. Jackson spun me into Ben's arms before he shifted into his Lycan form. Tears pooled in my eyes as Mason glanced at me. Ben held me tightly in his arms as I felt my Lycan form coming to the surface. I couldn't let an innocent person die because of my fear. I wouldn't be me if I let Mason get hurt.

"Let go or I'll kill you," I whispered to Ben. Even after everything Ben had done I couldn't bring myself to harm him. He paused before his hands dropped as I shifted. I raced forward as Jackson lunged at Mason. Pain flooded my body as Jackson's jaw clamped down of my shoulder giving Mason a chance to teleport away. I whimpered as he launched me across the floor. I turned human as I breathed heavily trying to ignore the pain. Jackson gripped my throat after turning himself back into his human form.

"You just killed your family," Jackson screamed as my lungs begged for air. I grabbed his wrist before I managed to slip from his hold. I rubbed my neck as I got to my feet. I had a gash on my shoulder from Jackson that sent blood dripping down my arm.

"My family would rather be dead than have me hurt someone!" I snapped as Jackson slapped my cheek. I winced but didn't back down. I glared at him as the hate filled my body. I would never bend to his will even if he killed me for my defiance.
