WAY OF AN OMEGA

85 - The Consecration

It was already half past 10 in the morning when Yulrir woke up. The sun was already in full haze and the entire bedroom was naturally lit by the rays of it. Indeed, waking up this late is unusual for Yulrir. 

Although sleeping wasn't really that much of a necessity for cultivators like them, It is still considered as something that their physical body yearns and somehow, it's effect is only slightly inferior to the usual meditation that a cultivator usually does to clear their mental exhaustion. Therefore, many cultivators would still choose sleep over meditation.

With a light frown reflected on his face, Yulrir squinted his eyes and lightly pinched the right cheek of the tan-skinned man lying beside him. 

"Wake up ah!" Yulrir softly mumbled. 

"Let's skip breakfast..." Theo replied while eyes closed as he wrapped his right arms around the waist of Yulrir.

"Elder Sister's consecration will be held soon! We have to prepare!" Yulrir grunted as he tries to remove the clinging arms around him.

Theo shifted as he mumbled.  "Kiss me... I might wake up!"

Yulrir huffed and gave Theo a flick on the forehead. "If you don't move right now. I won't be sleeping with you for a wee-"

Before even Yulrir completes his statement, the initially drowsy Theo had hurriedly stood up and fixed his robe. "Come now, my wife... We will be late!"

"Pfft." Yulrir chuckled before rolling his eyes on the abnormally energetic alpha.

The duo peacefully managed to prepare and in half an hour, they had finally emerged out of their bedroom. 

If you are looking for Small Seed who was usually sleeping with the couple, he spent the night with his new-found beautiful big sister, Terra. He told that it was the so-called scheduled 'husband and wife bonding' night for his father and daddy, so he asked Terra to take care of him for the night. Although Terra had originally opposed Theo and Yulrir sleeping together due to their status as Alpha and Omega, with the assurance of the importunate so-called husband and with the approval of her own disciple a.k.a wife, she had no choice but to let the two do their way. After all, the innocent-looking little child had also supported his Daddy Theo's good intention and explained that what his parents were doing was only for the sake of Dual Cultivation. If only Terra would know the truth behind this good intention, I bet that she'll cough out blood.

(A/N: Hahaha...This good intention was conveyed back in chapter 74.)

Apparently, the three of them had decided to stay on Terra's temporary lodging suite as it has 2 bedrooms to accommodate all of them. Being with Terra will also ensure the safeness of their privacy as the later was a renowned spatial magician. Setting up an impregnable spatial barrier is only a flick-of-hands away for Terra.

When the duo stepped out of the bedroom, the familiar house-cooking aroma had welcomed their nostrils. Following the aroma, Yulrir and Theo were dumbfounded with the large feast available on the table. 

A ball of green came bouncing into Yulrir. "Have you been behaved ah?" Yulrir effortlessly opened his arms and welcomed the familiar child into it.

"Of course! Small Seed always behaves!" The little child giggled as he hugged his so-called father.

"Ah! This is too cute that it is almost a sin." Terra who was removing her apron chuckled at the scene. "You guys were just on time. Let's eat then go to the palace altogether."

Yulrir nodded with glittering eyes. He simply missed his big sister and her cooking.

The dining table is big enough for 4 people to dine in altogether. Theo and Yulrir sat side-by-side to the chair next to them while Small Seed immediately jumped off Yulrir's lap to stride to the chair opposite to Theo. Unlike the other chairs, Small Seed's chair was specially ordered by Terra earlier from the one of the Hotel Staff. His chair is similar to those for children who were still within the fledgling phase. Although Small Seed is already used on eating while sitting on Yulrir's lap, he wanted to return Terra's goodwill as she made an effort to borrow a special chair for him.
