Extra 84.5 - Emperor's True Proposal

"Cadmus... Can you wait a moment?" The Emperor's gloomy tone rang out, making everyone in the room to stop in their tracks.

The headmaster waved his hand in dismissal towards the other people in the room. As soon as these remaining people saw his dismissal, they all hurriedly went out of the door.

After hearing the door close, the atmosphere had become even awkward.

With a deep sigh, the headmaster strode back in front of the Emperor's throne and stood languidly. He then lifted up his head to meet the Emperor's sight.

"His Majes--"

"Please... You don't need to call me like that. You're supposed to call me with my name like back then." The Emperor interjected before the Headmaster completed his statement.

The Headmaster's brow twitched but said nothing.

The Emperor stood up from his throne and started walking towards the Headmaster. The natural dominant aura that the Emperor usually emits was nowhere to be found. 

"TUDDDD!" What happened next had completely brought the Headmaster a shock.

The Emperor, not minding his royal crown and clothes had dropped down the floor to kowtow.

The headmaster naturally looked at the man in front of him in a stupor. The headmaster knelt down and touched the Emperor's shoulder and said, "Please His Majest--"

"Cadmus... I won't stand up until you call me by my name and let me explain myself." The Emperor once again interjected the Headmaster.

"..." By now, the Headmaster was having a mixed feeling. He either wanted to smack the man in front of him or just leave him alone and kowtow in his entire life.

"Fine... So be it. Then have it your way." The Headmaster's lips twitched and stood up. He was about to turn back towards the exit door when a strong hand had entwined in his left arm.

"P-pleaseee... C-can you atleast give me another chance?" The emperor gripped the Headmaster's left arm while half-kneeling. The emperor's face looked pale and his eyes expressed longing.

The Headmaster gave the Emperor an annoyed look and yanked the emperor's hand away.

"I thought you won't stand until I call you by your name? What happened now ah?" The headmaster sneered.

"Ah?!" The Emperor's eyes widened like saucers and immediately knocked his head on the ground in kowtow.

"..."

Seeing the act, the Headmaster can't help but give the Emperor an 'are-you-for-real' look.

With a sharp inhale, the Headmaster face-palmed and a faint smile had formed on his lips.

"You are already this old but you are still this dumb. What should I do to you ah?" The Headmaster squatted down.

"C-cadmus...I shall do anything so just please give me another chance... Please..." The Emperor begged without daring to raise his head.

"Then... how about you stop this and leave me alone." The Headmaster said nonchalantly.

"E-except for-- " The Emperor instinctively raised his head and did not expect that what he'll see was a smiling Cadmus.

The emperor was stuck in a stupor for a moment and did not bother closing his gaping mouth.

"Except for what? Are you going to swallow your words once again? As an Emperor, you should always stick to your words." The Headmaster added.
