I Know You're Happier

Sal's PoV
I wasn't happy, to see Brian with another person that wasn't me. I bothered me and I got jealous. His brown eyes shifted my way, but I looked away.

"I don't know how to say this but, I don't wanna be with you anymore." He said.

"W-what?" I said. His sad brown eyes looked at me with the pain and guilt inside of him. Brian looked at the floor, wanting to cry.

"I don't feel the same way I did when we first met." Brian said.

As those words were inside my head, I didn't realize that Joe was calling my name.

"Sal Vulcano!" Joe shouted. It caught my attention and I jumped back with surprise. Joe scoffed and rolled his eyes, pulling my hand with me.

"Meet my friend, Katy." He said. I looked at him, knowing he was trying to get me over the break up with Brian.

"I'm just trying to make you happy again." Joe whispered. I shook my head and walked away, getting another beer. He came up to me again and I groaned in annoyance.

"I just wanna make you happy." Joe said.

"You can't change the way I am." I said.

"Wow. Aren't your bundle of joy." Joe said sarcastically. He then walked away, I rolled my eyes, not giving a fuck.

As I got even more and more jealous, the anger inside of me increased. Glances between me and Brian became more awkward.  The woman he was with looked at me and gave me a look like if she was saying to back off. I gave her a sassy look, which she rolled my eyes at me.

"Sal, can I talk with you?" I looked behind me to see Brian. I nodded my head.

"What the fuck is going on?" Brian said. I shrugged my shoulders. The annoyance in his voice was evident.

"That girl you're with, is being a big fat bitch, that's what's wrong. She has a problem with me, so what the fuck do you, Brian Micheal Quinn out of all people bring her?" I answered him.

"Don't talk about my girlfriend like that!" He shouted. I furrowed my eyebrows. Why is she his girlfriend?

"Fuck your girlfriend. I know you're happier with her then when you were with me." I said before leaving.
